"Because they're happy!" Kit exclaimed after appearing out of nowhere.

"shouldnt you be getting ready for a wedding soon kit?"

Kit nodded a bit. "Yeahhhhh, I should. I was just- I had to just-" Kit's ears flattened. "I needed to see one of my best friends happy!"

"thats sweet"

Kit smiled. "Thank you. I'm gonna go, now. Good luck! Shade's taking my place."

"what???"

Shade appeared whenever Kit disappeared, looking around. "I remember this place..."

"gah! random people keep appearing"

"Yeah, sorry about that, cutie." Shade apologised, smiling at Rin.

"what..."

Shade just sat down and closed his blue eyes.

*peeks from behind him* "s-someones...flirting"

"Hmm? That's just who Shade is. I apologise for him." Mars said, running a hand through Riku's hair.

*blushes purring*

Mars grinned. "Cutie." Seeing as Shade had basically raised him, Blazer, and Saturn-though he wasn't much older than them, either- they all took after him in some way. Mars' way was he adopted Shade's nicknames and confidence. Blazer got his happiness, and Saturn got his fighting style and quickness.

*purrs and cuddles them both*

Mars gave both a nuzzle as Shade disappeared. His smile became even happier.
