She sighs and finished the glass of wine.

"whats going you down?"

"Nothing much. Life moves too fast, at times."

"your retired it should be going slow"

"Indeed... but I need some adventure. Sure, being ordered around by a lousy man in a white suit was fun, but I need something more... exhilirating."

"you have blessed weaponry and there are plenty of villages i can't defend all day everyday"

"This is true... Hmmm... Maybe I should go..."

"your call no one is making you fight demons"

"Oh of course I want to go. All I need is to know the locations of these poor villages."

he tosses her a worn down black journal full of maps and directions with villages circled in red with the name of different monster lairs near them

She quickly skims through the map. "It's always the isolated ones..."

"the ones the military don't care for that i did maybe some of the old fortifications are holding i don't know"

"Then my first goal is to investigate the ones nearest to the lairs, see if they're doing well. This'll be a regular patrol."

"im leaving country so your on your own there i don't care if azur lane gets involved...which they won't"

"It'll be fine. I hope." She poured more wine.

"no you won't your outgunned in this area sadly sure you have the gear but fighting creatures of myth on your own is for the young and stupid not for the older and wiser"

"So... I do nothing. Of course." She finishes the glass in one go.

"again your call i don't have the time resources or ability to help out with the lair exterminations"

"Well... I could help you with your... 'investigation' somehow."
