Korby then blinked in confusion before shrugging, going back to eating the hoagie.
Keeby would then walk in before looking towards the flattened Matt. They then looked over to Korby. "What happened?"
"Stairs fell on him." Korby said simply.
Keeby would then blink in confusion. "He fell down the stairs?"
"Nope. Stairs FELL on him."
"Huh.... You giotta be pretty dumb to have stairs fall on you."
"Now I've seen everything."
"Have you seen a raccoon choke on a finger?"
"I've seen a raccoon run across a soccer pitch."
"hmmm.... not the same."
"But still pretty funny." Dax shows Zoe the video she's talking about.
Zoe laughs out loud. "The players were so not entertained!!! Oh wow, I normally hate Tanuki, but that one has my utmost respect."
"That's a proper raccoon, not a tanuki." Dax frowned. "A tanuki, or Japanese Raccoon Dog, is actually a species of wild canid. Despite the name, it and the common raccoon dog found in mainland Asia are more closely related to foxes."
Zoe frowns back. "Do not quote the Google on me. Raccoon, Tanuki, they're both the same to me."
"Well there's a distinct difference, and I've had to correct people so many times in my 300 plus years of existence that I've lost track."
She puts a finger up. "Shut."
Dax fumes angrily, and takes a seat at the bar, gulping down the rest of her raktajino in a single movement.
Azumi, hearing arguing from somewhere in the bar proceeds to give tea to both Zoe and then Dax to help them calm down. She then returned to Zoe.
"There's no need to argue!" Azumi smiled "That human simply does not know of the Tanuki's yokai counterpart! It's like confusing kitsune, us fox spirits for the japanese word for fox, kitsune!"
Azumi then took a sip of the tea that she made for herself before saying "Some people need to be educated rather than berated. I learned that much when I lost one of my tails!"

He arrived and began opening up the kitchen. He was in an incredibly bad mood.
