Sadly for Blanche, there is in fact, a metal detector in the doorway, installed not long after Charlie came to work due to many instances of people trying to sneak weapons in. A pre recorded voice over of charlie comes on. "Please, Sirs or Ma'ams, place your weapons in the proper receptical."
Blanche jumped softly at the sudden voice, stopping walking, and began looking around, confused on where it came from.

A Hologram appears in front of him, part of the security system Charlie installed. "Please place any weapons in the proper boxes."
Blanche took a step back, startled again.
The boy gently reached for the hem of his blouse, pulled it up a small bit and slid the knife from out of the holster he had it in, then gently patted his blouse back down.
He held it up as if silently saying 'This?'

Blanche gently glanced around for the weapons box, then wandered over to gently place it inside, then wandered back to the hologram, holding his hands open to show he did not have it.
The hologram nods once more. "Thank you sir. Please enjoy your time at Trixie's bar. We hope you enjoy the service." With that, it blinks out of existence."
Blanche.. he was just confused again.

The dim lights and the buzz of conversation greeted her like familiar friends as she made her way to the counter. (I am quite unbeatable at Hyrule Circuit. I'm also just a naturally good gamer, it didn't take long for me to be able to smoke my experienced friend. Even got the DLC for free coz I had an online membership)
