Ren tilted his head, a habit he got from his kitsune mother. Azumi overheard this and sighed softly in relief. It was time for her to leave the mortal realm momentarily however as powerful familiars require quite a lot of mana that the fox spirit didn't want to use as she could exhaust Ren by simply existing. Besides, she's quite nosy, so it'd be best if she left. She unsummoned herself, melting away into wisps of blue-colored mana akin to foxfire and departed, returning to the spirit realm.
"Stay safe while I'm gone dear" Azumi whispered softly "Have fun with Mathius"
Ren didn't hear a word. Only acknowledging the fact that Azumi unsummoned herself.
"Huh, guess I wasn't in trouble after all" the young man chuckled lightly "Alright, what're we gonna do? I wouldn't mind outdoors-y type shenanigans, I may not look like it but I like nature. I mean, it explains my pet tarantulas and carnivorous plants"
Ren sure loved to talk alot, another habit he got from his mother, except he was more inclined to make long speeches even just for fun.

My mom said it'd be a nice break from all of us doing melodramatic and aggressive music. Not that I'm complaining, Owl City's my stress reliever music. Forgot to tell you my mom's the bassist for my band, the Suburbanites. She goes by her uh... Idol Pseudonym 'Kitsuhime'."
Mathius got what he asked for. As said before, Ren's quite the talker. Perhaps that's why he gets in trouble despite his good intentions.
