"I thought Bambi was a deer....?" Strangely enough, Ouroboros seemed to just materialize from the shadows.

"Hm...?" Keeby looked over to the side before nodding. "Yeah... It really has been a while... Don't know what happened to Green, though, but I assume they'd enter in about 13 seconds... Got some coffee or anythin'?"

And as if on cue, Korby then walked into the tavern, looking all exhausted as well.

"Heard my name... whew, hey Keebs... Boy, am I exhausted after dealing with Parallel Nightmare, eh?" Korby would say, showing exhaustion just like that one game. go play block tales rn it's pretty peak. (no, i am not gonna tell you spoilers god d*mnit, play it urself)

"I brought gifts for them if their owners don't mind." Niko carried a parcel that was bone shaped.

"I'd love to."

"Certainly! Hey I still remember when you and Korby only said 'poyo'. I think we can just understand you. Let me get that coffee started" he began brewing a new pot of coffee.

"I don't mind, sir"

"Good. Where is the lad?" Niko unwrapped the paper and revealed a big pork bone. Back in the silence of space, dogs and pets were rare to come by.

With an expression that showed a mixture of confusion and concern, Dax tried again, selecting five cards, allowing herself pick the ones that felt right.

He popped out from under the table Adrian is sitting at. He wagged his tail and went over to Niko. He sniffed the baby in his arms and then looked up at Niko.

Bambi poked her head out frorm under the table, watching thor, she tilted her head wondering what he was doing

Gustavo and Brick are playing poker.

He went over and pawed Bambi to get her to follow him.

He was asleep at a booth. He was working overtime to prepare the banquet.

This time the cards weren't blank when she drew them, they showed in this order. A sword covered in the blood of a bleeding star. A crescent moon, an old man fishing in a dried up lake. A mother crying by an empty cradle, and a bright sun silhouetting a armored warrior surrounded by dead enemies. She tsked at the cards "difficult...the sword...something has happened to a dream you once had..now dead. The moon sliver. You still have hope for that dream. The old fool....you've taken the wrong path thinking it was the correct path in life. The..." She swallowed "the grieving mother....you've lost a child...or a mother..and you may not know it. But this one...the vengeance of the righteous. You will overcome these. But it will come at great expense"

And The Noise is just watching. "I wonder why the fat italian man's short friend is gambling with a oversized rat! We may never know!"

The handsome chef still snoozed at the booth.

Niko sat on the floor and unreleased Luka from the carrier. He sat the carrier beside him and placed the bone on the floor. I hope this is good enough, he thought. "Now, Luka, these are dogs. One of the best damn animals," he said.
