The food maestro himself walked into the bar and patted Thyra on the back "it's all good now"

It would seem someone very familiar entered Trixie's bar. Well, someone familiar to Ren at the very least. It was detective Kiyo Narukami, one of Ren's childhood friends and his closest other than Finn Skarles. She approached Mathius with a friendly, tired smile. Most people did not know she was a Crane Yokai who took on a human form, but with Mathius' immense knowledge, he might know that already.

"You must be Mathius" Kiyo said "I heard there's this Rebel guy who frequents this bar? I'm here to arrest him"

Ren exited the Comfort Room and saw Kiyo before rolling his eyes.

"Really? Arrest me? When you were the one who broke me out?" He smirked

That broke Kiyo, from a composed detective, she became an easily embarrassed girl

"H-hey, I was j-joking!" She exclaimed "Screw you, dude!"

"That's my line" He facepalmed "Better not give me a reason to spoil that anime you were watching, detective"

"Not cool!" Kiyo scowled.

"I was about to tell you that you aren't resting my so.....my friend's son" he said with a,laugh. He certainly knew that this detective was a yokai. He knew Azumi was probably off chasing her tails. In fact, he was sure of it.

"As long as you say brother" she glided away back to dreal

She watched this whole debacle unfold in front of her "sorry y'all, but are ya gonna taking the counter space? We're not busy but I gotta keep the front area clear in case someone wants something, fight elsewhere" she hugged and leaned her chin onto her elbow...before seeing her boss, then she was straight backed

He waved Merith off "as you were. As you were"

He pulled Thyra into his lap.

she blushed lightly and placed a kiss onto his cheek "your affectionate today"

She sighed and went back to resting her chin onto his palm. She checked her watch, five hours left on her shift...and not one customer. She eyed the baked good that were untouched now going cold

He sighed "Merith....those are for the staff.....I thought I told you..."

He smiled at Thyra and put his arms around her.

"The other ones yes, but I made these ones." She tidyed up the line up of baked goods

"Go ahead and have them. Your paycheck is in the office"

She perked up and dashed to the office, and grabs her pay check. She walked out smiling "thank ya boss man"

"Go deposit it or whatever. Drael, Zero, Thyra, and I can hold down the fort"

He walked in with a bit of a grin ",hello, landlubbers"

"Hmm?"

"Not you, kid. I'm talking about the ones who don't know anything about sailing"

"Nah, I'll do it after my shift" she smiled warmly, going back to her spot she mumbled something to herself with a laugh

"Oooh lucky me, very affectionate today!~" she smiled hugging his head to her chest...using some magic to bring herself up to that level
