he holds out a hand for her to help her up he wouldn't leave anyone behind especially not someone who chose to walk into the hellfire of battle
She took his hand. "Are we going into more fighting?"
"no we are checking the damage when the alert for battle goes off ill head to the next battle"
"Okay." She looked around again.
the land was scarred the trees burnt the houses caved in from explosivse
"Oh dear. I hope there weren't any civilians..."
She shuddered, before launching another fighter to scout the area. "C-Completely flattened."
"Did I do that?"
She did so, closing her eyes.
"now think of those close to you that make you happy exclude all else to that one image when you are calm open your eyes"
She thought for a minute, then smiled, remembering her younger sisters. "R-Right! Uhm. I'm calm."
"good" he had taken his helmet off the small piece of cloth covering his missing right eye was still firmly wrapped around his head covering that socket he ran a hand through his jet black hair and looked about
"You did good out there, y'know... I haven't seen anybody fight like that..."
"centuries and centuries of practice have hardened me i have no one to teach my skills too but that doesn't stop me from honing them"
"I see... wow, centuries... I doubt even I'll last that long."
"Oh. That sounds cool."
