As they walked, Monika started humming a tune.

he listened to the tune as eventually they made it to the location of the next gate this one was partially buried so umbra sent a void pulse through the ground that forced the portal to open and collapse on itself swallowing the portal generator and frame whole

Monika finished the tune and once again sighed.

"why are you sighing is there something stressing you out?"

"Getting old." She laughed.

"ah yes humans age and i do not i remain frozen at the age of 18 if you humans ageing system works on orokin who were just ancient super advanced humans"

"indeed the void froze all tenno at 18 we were all children during the incident"
