"Spartan, huh? Can't say I've heard of it. I'm Tyko Braviat, Veteran Sergeant of the Ninth Company in the Hammers of Dorn chapter of Space Marines. I'm in charge of coordinating heavy vehicle and armoured column movements, since our chapter combat doctrine emphasizes on having maximum firepower. Plus, the Ninth Company is the reserve Fire Support Company in most Chapters, including mine."

"i see i presume you are a form of military in your world?"

"You could say that. The Space Marines, or Adeptus Astartes, are part of the Imperium of Man's military forces, but we are separate from the regular Astra Militarum. We answer directly to the Emperor of Mankind. He made us more than human, genetically engineered to be his Angels of Death. Yet we also uphold the values of the Imperium, and embrace our chapter comrades as brothers. To the rest of Mankind, we are demigods who walk among them and protect them from the insidious xenos that claw at the fringes of our Imperium and the daemonic tides that leak from the Warp to spread the foul taint of Chaos. To the enemies of humanity, we are steel and we are doom. The Emperor protects, but the Space Marines carry out this protection."

"i see i only answer to the UNSC but my name past and history are all stained in black ink"

"That is interesting. No two chapters of Space Marines have the same structure, combat doctrine, or beliefs. It's all loosely based around a book called the Codex Astartes. My chapter, the Hammers of Dorn, follows the Codex to the letter. Other chapters are more loosely based on it, like the Angels Encarmine or the Sons of Medusa. Other chapters, like the Space Wolves or Black Templars, eschew the Codex in favour of a chapter organization that suits them. You may have encountered some Black Templars in this region before, as they recently dispatched a Crusade Company to this sector."

"for the armored man in black who went insane and threw a few of your kind around like rag dolls?"

"Oh that?" He chuckles. "That actually caused the Black Templars to withdraw their Crusade. Their original intention was to engage a massive Ork horde that was heading this way, which they managed to disperse."

"convenient" he checks his weapon and checks his combat logs

Her eyes appeared once again
"thats a bad idea isn't it?
She flew around once again now disappearing into shadows and appearing out others

The wizard turns in the direction that Shedy went in. "You need not hide in the shadows, small one. I will protect you from harm."

She appeared out of his shadow
"its not like anyone can hit me anyways"

"True, true. You make a good point, mysterious small beetle creature."

"my name is shedy, and im a cicada specifically"
She bowed
"its a pleasure to meet you Marlin"

He nods. "I am Azithril, the master of Cavern Quest."

"so what brings you here Azithril?"

"Wizard stuff."

the SPARTAN just observed the two silent in his observation

"thats....Vague"
She girl floated around Azithril

"I am also surveying for worthy warriors who wish to embark on the Cavern Quest."
