"akashi was supposed to deliver cubes..."

"And I did, nya! Were they not enough?" Akashi was wearing a scuba mask and tank as she floated beside U-110, looking about as comfortable as a cat in water could be. (Which is not very)

"i couldn't get them to bond with my hull..."

"Raawr, U-110 suggests you try using Prinz Eugen's chocolate frosting. It sticks to everyyyything, especially her."

"what?" she jerks in pain once again blipping out of reality the lights dying

"I think I might be a bit late to the party." The Mechanic had arrived in his crab ship that he used for underwater stuff.

"I call dibs on salvaging." Several ray mechas deploy from his submarine to back him up on this.

"Now then, let's see what secrets you hide." The Mechanic activated the claws on his crab sub, preparing to remove the command deck of the Infinity so he could take it with him.

which he couldn't as there was no way to remove it from the ship she was built in such a way that trying to salvage her was next to impossible

With a grunt of frustration, The Mechanic withdrew his vehicle...only to have a larger one, specifically the iconic Ocean Surveyor that he had built, descend from above and latch several arms onto the Infinity. "If I can't have part of you, then I'll have all of you. At last, the secrets in your data files shall be mine." Red tentacles extend from within the Ocean Surveyor and worm their way into the bridge of the Infinity to tap into it's computers. The Mechanic is clearly serious about taking the ship's secrets.

explosives in the ship are primed to go off in a matter of seconds as just as he gets to a computer part of her bridge explodes into pieces followed by subsequent other parts soon her hangar explodes violently stirring up the sediments around the two wrecks

The Mechanic stares in blank shock. "Well played...that's what I would have done."

when the storm of sedements clear there was nothing to tell the infinity was there just pieces of junk scattered about the oceans floor her giant white UNSC Infinity well what remained of it blown clean off her hull her computer systems all her data her AI form...gone

"So that's that. Miss Infinity is gone." Fumizuki bows her head, her fluffy dog ears drooping slightly. "It didn't have to be like this, we could have helped her."
