In this RP, one player will be playing a character who has been recovered, acquired, captured, or rescued by one or more character's of the other. Whoever has gotten this new acquisition should have the resources to study or take care of them (a doctor, scientist, military member assigned to the subject/patient, etc.).... but they cannot understand the subject. You do not speak the same language, and you may even have to learn each other's gestures and emotional reactions. Also, they should be different species (though that will probably be easy enough)

I would like this game to be non-violent as much as possible, so nothing like torture or cruel experimentation. Some science and examination being done is good, but I am not comfortable with serious abuse in either direction.

I'm willing to play either role, either being the subject or being the examiner! Let me know your preference! If you'd like me to be the subject, feel free to let me know who you'd like to put in a box from among my characters. Other than the goddesses for a lot of reasons.

OOC COMMUNICATION WILL BE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Hopefully this is obvious, but it's worth repeating. Since our characters will be unable to talk usefully, any boundaries that need clarifying, setting, and reminding will have to be done OOC.

The game will be VERY narration and description heavy since we won't be able to rely on dialogue. If you've been looking for a chance to practice relying less on dialogue (which is part of the reason I'm creating this game), this might be the story for you!

The researcher, doctor, or handler should be from a society which is in a scientific era, be it modern, futuristic, cyberpunk, mid 1900s-era, steam-punk, magic-as-tech settings, etc. This is easy if you're interested in being the subject, I have plenty of characters who fit that, but is a requirement worth noting if you would like to play the handler. That said, if you have a very scientifically minded plague doctor or a rigorous, thorough witch, spiritual healer, or other similar type of character who would do good research or medicine, that can work if we discuss it first. As a note, all of my characters have some kind of supernatural abilities (magic, psionics, etc.), so if your characters do too, that's more than fine. ^v^

As listed, this should be a multi-paragraph-per-post game. I tend to write 2-5 paragraphs of about as many sentences in a post, but it may vary given the no-dialogue style as I get used to it. I'd like to write with someone who does similar lengths. ^v^

Questions for clarification are welcome, and can either be left here or DM'd to me, whichever you prefer. Questions DM'd to me may get edited into this post with their answer after I reply if it seems like something other people may want or need to know.
