"Ever since the human race learned to walk we set forth to leave no stone unturned. We tamed horses to race across the lands. We crafted boats to brave the ocean. We connected with other members of mankind in the pursuit of exploration. When we saw everything our world had, we build ships that could take us to the moon. Once we saw that our world was just one of a possible infinite, rather then becoming discouraged that we may never get to see it all we pushed even further. We developed slip space travel, we broke past the Milky way, we contacted Alien life. And 20 years ago today, we found a new solar system that has avoided our detection for centuries. We set out to explore it, and not a single vessel returned. And though the scars have faded, I still see the fire in the Pioneers eye to set foot on these undiscovered planets. With advances in technology, we believe we are ready to enter the Nostradamus system, and set foot on the hidden planet that we call Cerberus. We are the human race. We leave no stone unturned."

Nostradamus, a Solar System 500 lightyears away from the Milky Way Galaxy, has been the center of interest for astronomers for decades as they can not understand why the system and its planets had remained hidden from their radars for so long, only to suddenly pop up out of the blue. The NSO is the front line defense for Earth and her colonies, and also responsible for the expedition of newly discovered planets. Years before, they sent a team of Pioneers to scout out the planet they named Cerberus, a planet that is almost the same size of earth and appears to be habitable. During their 4 year journey however, they lost contact with them, and the team was never heard from again. Now, 20 years after the event, a new team of Pioneers is being sent to scout out this mysterious planet. The NSO wants to know what secrets this planet may have, results on rather or not they can inhabit it, and just what the hell happened to that Pioneer team 20 years ago.

I am looking for someone who would like to be one of the scientist being escorted by a squad of Marines to survey the planet, or alternatively, you could also be one of the Marines. I myself will be the squad leader of the Marines sent to help aid in the research. I perfer players who dont mind writing a decently sized paragraphs with a good amount of detail, and can have the creative ability to work with me in the creation of a wonderful story. I also only would like to rp with people 18 years or older. I would like to keep this as short and sweet as possible so I will leave it there, and if this idea sounds like your cup of tea, go ahead and message me and we can discuss further about plans for the rp and hopefully get something started up!
