Momoko smiled and laughed,"oh really~" Momoko said teasingly, she didn't believe in what he was saying very much. Momoko laughed some more, and stared down at his hands, as he stuck them out. "Uh huh..." Momoko said, as he explained and trailed off. She stared back up at him with a blank bored look in her eyes.
Daryl saw the doubt in her face and laughed. "Fine then, don't believe me." He shot back teasingly, sticking his tongue out briefly. They had reached the other side just as the light turned green and cars were speeding around once more. He saw a car come roaring down the street and it was about to hit a puddle directly in front of them. Quickly, he jumped in front of Momoko and was soaked from head to toe. "So much for getting noodles...." He laughed, shaking his head like a wet dog.
(Is this ok with you?)
(Is this ok with you?)
((Yeah..?))
Kokomo laughed at how childish he looked, sticking his tongue out at her like that and continued to walk. Following behind him, towards the next cross walk. While the two waited, Momoko watched as the cars in front of the them zoomed past them. "Speeding to get no where..." Momoko said, as one of the cars that was way too close to the curve, zoomed past them, going way over the speeding limit. Where the large puddle was, Momoko stepped back ready to get out of the way. Until Daryl just happened to jump right in front of her, getting soaked by the water. She tiled her head, with a unamused look on her face, "you didn't have to do that, but thank you anyway." Momoko said looking at his soaked cloths, "let's go dry you off" Momoko said turning around, she didn't care for the food anyway.

Daryl shrugged and ringed his clothes out some. "If you still want some food we can just order some takeout." He said with a friendly smile. He was a bit disappointed that she didn't appreciate that he saved her from getting soaked, but he recovered just as the crosswalk light turned green. With a big stride, he started across the street with a thoughtful look on his face.
Momoko didn't really appreciate, sense she could of gotten out of the way, before the car hit the puddle, but it was too late to tell him now anyway. She shook her head, "no thank you" Momoko said, not following behind his, when the cross walk light turned green.
Daryl noticed that Momoko wasn't behind him when he reached the other side of the crosswalk and it was already too late. The light had turned red and the traffic was moving at alarming speeds once again. He hadn't heard her speak before because of the loud city noises and instantly regretted not letting her go first. "Hey, Why didn't you make it across?" He called across the busy street, a small frown on his face.
Momoko spun around hearing him, shout at her, wondering why didn't she follow behind. She crossed her arms, should I break it to him or not? Momoko thought, eh... It was always good to tell the truth, instead of trying to lie. Momoko shouted loud enough so she could hear, "sorry, I'm just not really interested in eating anymore..." Momoko admitted
