Your character(s) will be investigating the disappearances of five different people, and would have gained a lead. That lead, points to Dr. Victor Lechner. While investigating his office one night, your character(s) is/are kidnapped by the person you suspected as they are very unwilling to be arrested.
Your character(s) will have to either find a way out, fall head over heels frok the killer's charm and torture, or convince them to set your character(s) free... somehow. That is if they even have vocal chords by then.
I'm unsure how often I will respond, but one to two paragraphs are all you need! Cheers^^

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romantic themes are possible, but won't pan out. For example: unrequited love.
