The Spirit of fire flew above one of the Corvettes, "We are above the target sir!" A marine said to Cutter, "Then hit it marine!" Cutter yelled out clenching his fist, "Aye aye Sir! Unleashing hell!" the Marine said, then ten MAC cannons came out from beneath the Spirit of Fire, The same ones used to help John on the surface of that planet, Then all ten MACs hit the Corvette and hit it with such power and force that their was barely any debris of the ship.

Douglas then saw ships launching out of the Cruisers "Sprits and Phantoms!" A marine yelled and fired his MASS Driver at one of the Spirits destroying it, They could not stop all of them, But the more they destroyed, The more easy it would be to stop a boarding party. Douglas fired his MASS Driver and destroyed a Phantom, The Debris of which smashed into a spirit destroying that as well

Keyes maneuvered the Autumn to keep sight of the Spirit of Fire while avoiding the ships as best they can "All weapons fire on those craft" the broadcast was ship wide and every gun on the Autumn went for a seperate Spirit or Phantom several blasts from the explosions felt against the hull of the Autumn shaking the ship like crazy

Douglas then noticed something "Keyes we have Brute Phantoms coming in on the Starboard side!" That was the side he and John were one, Brute Phantoms had more powerful rapid fire Cannons that shot more powerful and more rapid firing red plasma fire from both the sides and from its bottom turret, The began to attack the MASS Drivers on the Autumn so the other dropships could go through, Douglas shot two of them down immediately

Keyes responded by launching several longswords to defend the Autumn from the brute phantoms and outside the port windows could be seen several explosions as Phantoms went down and a few Longswords spun out of control

tons of Space Banshees flew in along with a few squadrons of Seraphs. the Spirit of Fire flew in near the Pillar of Autumn and began launching its Long Swords, However, The Spirit of Fire had a trick up its sleeve, VULTURES began launching and began unloading its missiles and large gun turrets. They were slow but tough and powerful as well and they began attacking the Seraphs and Dropships more than anything. Five shortswords flew out "Cutter to keyes, All my fighters are caught up in fights, Could you spare a longsword or two to cover these shortswords to that Covenant Cruiser?"

Keyes nodded "roger" he said then a few longswords broke from combat and flew into formation behind the shortswords and was shooting away at any of the covenant ships that targeted them

John was shooting at the brute phantoms "Fall you bastards" he told himself as images flooded his head vividly picturing the blood spilled from past conflicts

Suddenly the door to the room was forced open, And then three brutes ran in, Two with Spikers the other with a Mauler, Two marines manning the MASS Drivers were instantly killed. Douglas jumped out and took out his shotgun and started fighting the Brutes "JOHN! Keep fighting! I will handle these guys!" He then jumped onto a brute and shot the brute in the face at point blank range "Keyes! Brutes have some how gotten in without the use of Transports!" The Brutes had a faint blue hue on them, That if anyone were to scan would find out that they used Forerunner tech to teleport here

Cortina ran a ship wide scan "Keyes Cutter the brutes are using the amplified effects of the Forerunner object we found, we must nullify it somehow" she said Keyes nodding "We'll lock it up in one of the cryotubes hopefully the signal will become limited in there"

The brutes shot Douglas with everything they had but in the end Douglas shot them both dead, He then jumped back on his MASS Driver and began to shoot down more Phantoms

The Shortswords bombed The Covie Cruiser and completely obliterated the port Cruisers weapons platforms "Thanks for the help!" The shortsword commander said and they flew back to the Spirit of Fire

A message was being sent to Keyes "Captain! We have Covies trying to force themselves into the science bay!" There was then plasma fire "OH GOD! They just killed Kelly! Its only me and the Sarge left please se- OH GOD IM STUCK IM ST-" Then there was an Explosion... Then Silence

Keyes yelled into his comm "What's going on?!" He exclaimed then pelicans launched landing on the spirit of fire launching marines that began hunting the covenant inside the Spirit of Fire

John was shooting at every single phantom not paying any attention to the other targets

The Science bay was raided, Only dead marines including a dead Sargent. Serena then contacted the Marines on that deck "Marines, The Covenant stole all data on the Forerunner artifacts we found but that's not all... A few of the Grunts appear to have the FLOOD spore inside them. You need to throw any bodies into space, For all we know all the covenant on this ship are infected and they could reanimate at anytime"

The marines shot down any and all covenant losing of few of their own each fight but as they father opened the closest airlock which sucked the dead bodies out into space and they continued on the hunt repeating this sequence

A plasma torpedo flew out from a Cruiser and nailed the Pillar of Autumn and then a message was sent through the Pillar of Autumn "Evac the Medical bay, Medical bay has suffered a major hit!"

Two Elites were holding their sides as they limped through the halls, Not injured by Marines. Then the Elites started screaming in pain as FLOOD started ripping out of them and started changing the two Elites

The Pillar of Autumn began evasive maneuvers and Keyes radioed Cutter "Cutter you need to get off that ship, take of the pelicans I sent over and get over here ASAP" he said some of the pelicans already leaving to the Pillar of Autumn

Cutter shook his head "Keyes I have been with this ship for over a decade. Im not going to abandon it just because of a few FLOOD, We survived the FLOOD on this ship once we can do it again!" He yelled in a motivational sort of way

The Door to the Turret room opened again and Douglas turned, But saw something else "Glad to see you made it to the party" Douglas said smirking, Then a voice was heard "I am ready for anything now!" That voice was Jessica, She had her two SMGs ready and jumped on one of the unmanned turrets and took out three Spirits right away, Then shot a Seraph of all things out of the sky

John turned around speechless after a moment he finally opened his mouth "glad to have you back" he said turning back around shooting upon the phantoms each one spinning out before disappearing into a puff of dust and debris

The marines began to spread out quarantining the area and hunting the flood, each body they found was thrown out of the airlock by order

She smiled "Its nice to be back John" she then blew a Brute Phantom apart then another spirit

The FLOOD soon lost their foot hold and had been thrown off the Spirit of Fire, However a Zealot ran out, But this one did not have all the fancy armor that most did, This one was just a gold elite but much harder to hit and quickly lunged at the marines with his sword

One marine got jabbed while the others dodged out of the way, they each pulled out their assault rifles and unloaded on the golden zealot moving slowly out of its way to keep a good aim on it

John got up from his seat and started for the hangar "Hold the fort until I get back" he told Douglas and Jessica. once he reached the hangar he 'borrowed' a longsword and flew out beginning to shoot at all the phantoms, he was noticeable by all the flips and spins he was doing to stay out of the target zone of some of the banshees and seraphs

The ZEALOT started running backwards while shooting a plasma rifle to get back into cover and allow his shield to recharge

The Covenant ship master was quite curios as to why this Longsword was acting like this "Ship Scanners" The Shipmaster said to the Sensor officer, He then had a surprised expression "Shipmaster! There is a DEMON on there!" The shipmaster looked at this fighter and growled "ALL FIGHTER IN AREA 6-6*7-2 Target that fighter!" Then eight Space banshees, five Seraphs and two Phantoms started Chasing John, then two MASS Driver bolts hit two Banshees "We will try and keep them off you" Douglas said taking another shot and destroying a Seraph

John nodded "just keep them off of me long enough" he said turning his longsword so he could start firing at the cruisers bridge with his machine guns and rockets.

The marines stayed behind cover one after another they covered each other while they were reloading and kept shooting at the zealot
