While I really love the rp-repository, I was wondering, what other sites do people use for simple character profiles?

I'm looking for one that is super easy to build and able to be free and have LOTS of pictures in it, like a gallery and super-easy to navigate.

I mainly want it to put down bare basics of characters and their references when asking for art, since people seem to prefer being linked to such sites when you are asking for art
Plus I can't afford more character slots anyways... *sobs*

I don't mean other rping sites, just one for profiles that is super easy to use and update to link people to. I have the RPR and Gaia for my rps themselves.

If this isn't allowed to be asked, feel free to delete this.
Charahub is easy-to-use and neat.

This question is definitely allowed. :) Every site has a different focus and we'll be perfect for some people and their playstyles and not others. It doesn't scare me or anything. And I know you still love us. <3

I'm very glad to hear that.
And of course! The RPR is my home.

Just when posting on freebie art forums, some people just like a brief personality, along with appearance and refs when offering to draw a character, which is what I'm looking for.

Hm, maybe I'll give it a try.
See how it works for me.
I try to use both sites to (what appears to be) their strengths.

Charahub makes a great quick-and-dirty dumping ground for character bios and information; you can have a functional and nice-looking page up literally in seconds, but customization is limited and the social elements of that site are basically nonexistent. RPR seems much more quality-over-quantity to me, and here I put much more effort into fewer bios of characters I feel I'm more likely to play.

Yeah, that's the plan. I just wanna put their personalitys and references there so when I do art trades, ask for commissions or someone to draw my character, all they get is what they look like, and what they act like.

Where here on the RPR I go a bit crazy, so that I can use these specifically for rps

This makes me happy.
