{Sorry for the late post, holiday crap and family issues keep popping up to get in the way}
Rosa brushed the crumbs off her mouth and nodded. "Alright, what do you want to talk about?" She tilted her head slightly, her silver eyes full of curiosity. She hoped it wasn't about her sneaking off or anything of the sort, as she was careful not to make it obvious.

"Um... Well, were you always homeless?" he asked with a slight blush, "I-I don't mean to pry or anything..."
She giggled to herself when she saw his blushed cheeks. "Not always, it just sort of ended up that way." She stared at the floor for a moment, taking a short pause. "When a family falls apart and you have no where else to go.." She sighed quietly. "It wasn't a good life, but I had it better than some out there." She forced a smile.
"I guess so... Being part crow means you're pretty hardy, aren't you?" he asked.
She grinned and nodded. "Being a crow harpy is the only reason I'm still living, being able to eat just about anything and not get sick is a blessing." She laughed a bit. "Though I prefer things that taste good rather than rotten smelly scraps." She stretched and yawned.
Rosa smiled and looked away. "This entire thing is like a treat for me, really.. I'm not used to kindness like this, so thank you for that." She teared up a bit, and quickly wiped her eyes to hide it.
She smiled again, wiping her eyes still. "You really are a strange one, but I'm glad I was lucky enough to meet you in that run down place." She laughed a bit. "And I'm not one to really believe in things like luck, not that often anyways." She got up and stretched, adjusting her wings to be more comfortable.
"Strange can be good. And I know I'm not bad," the teen smiled and started preparing meat to be cooked.
She giggled and sat back down. "That's true, you're the nicest person I've met in years. And the last one was faking it, for less than noble reasons.." She looked away, recalling the moment with a shiver. "I really dislike humans.. though I know not all of them are horrid people, just the majority I met are." She muttered bitterly.
She smiled and nodded. "I'm aware, though if you were I'm sure you'd still be just as kind as you are now." She giggled again. "But I'd be a lot more nervous as well, cause even kind humans can change in a matter of moments." She picked at the feathers on her arms, checking them out of habit.
"True enough," he agreed and put the meat into his stone oven, "So... What to talk about?"
She stared at her feathers for a moment. "Not sure, but feel free to ask anything if you get curious." She plucked out a feather that was broken and glared at it. "I don't have many interesting things to tell, but I don't mind sharing them." She twirled the feather.
"Why'd you hide the silver jewelry?" he asked, "You coulda just told me. I wouldn't have been mad, you just need to not touch me with it, or touch me after you touch it without washing your hands. You can keep it in the house as long as you're not flaunting it. I trust you, not some stranger."
Rosa dropped the feather and blushed enough that you could see it even with her grayish skin. "I-I.. Sorry!" She looked away, completely embarrassed. "I got nervous when you said you didn't want silver in the house.. I didn't want to cause any problems." She hid her face as she spoke.
((Could I join?))
(I'm okay with it )
"Well, he was a stranger. I didn't want any stranger to get near me with silver. It burns me like an acid and it's pretty much the only thing besides age that can kill me."

{Sorry again for late replies, anyone is welcome.}
She nodded and picked up the feather. "I guess it was childish of me to hide it.." She mumbled, still bright with embarrassment. It was probably the most embarrassing thing shes done in quite some time.
