That night, when everyone had been served and people were just sitting around the fire in the middle of the inn, Mariah found time to be alone with Takeo. She sat down on the floor next to him and rested her head on his shoulders.

Takeo sat there for a second before he talked to Mariah "So....?"

"Did everything go okay for you?"

"Yea, you?"

She nodded, "Just cooking," the cat shrugged and rubbed her cheek against his shoulder with a light purr. Her neck was fairly exposed like this.

Takeo eyed her neck for a second before saying. "I need to go into town to....get a few things" He starts to get up. (He says this after everyone has left)

(U can decide if he drinks her blood or not :p)

"Oh... Alright... I don't think any stores are open though," she told him, "I'm gonna go to sleep I guess... Wake me up when you get back?"

"Alright....." Takeo looks slightly disappointed.

"Well... Are you not leaving then?"

Takeo gave Mariah a teasing glance "do you not want me to leave" Takeo grinned slightly. It was one of his rare grins.....one that showed he was enjoying himself....one he haddnt shown in 5 years.

She blushed a little and shook her head. "I... I feel safe around you..."

Takeo paused for a moment before he replied. "Alright then....mabey I'll stay." He gave her a sly look.

She smiled shyly and sat down by the fire again.

Takeo sat down beside her and gently poked her shoulder.. "So? "

She giggled a little and rested her furry cheek on his shoulder, exposing her neck again. "What?"

Takeos face started turning a little red. "Your just trying to tempt me aren't you?" He poked her forehead as he said this.

She looked genuinely confused, "W-what do you mean...?"

Takeo laughed slightly. "Nothing,.....just messn' with you." Takeo looked back towards the fire, his face still red.

She looked away shyly then kissed his cheek and rested her head on his shoulder again. Her long, fluffy tail wrapped around them both and she snuggled closely to him.
