Mariah sat quietly behind the counter, in a corner, eating a half loaf of bread. The cat girl watched quietly as several of the inn/tavern's patrons left.
"Hey! There's a new guest, go see what he needs!" came the voice of the owner, an middle-aged woman who was kindly but strict on the job.
"Yes, ma'am," Mariah nodded and stood then walked over to the new guest, her paw pads making barely a sound as she moved around the fire pit and stood there in front of him, "May I help you with something, sir? Something to eat or drink?"

(This character can be yours or I can control him as an NPC )

*remains silent for a moment then pushes the hair out ffrom infront of his eyes he responds* "Sure..you got any sweet milk?" *(talks in a soft voice)*

"Sweet... Milk, sir?" she asked curiously, "Um... We have normal milk... I don't know what sweet milk is... Unless its just milk with sugar in it. I can do that for you," the cat-girl smiled at him.

Takeo stays quiet for a moment as he tries not to laugh. "Yea sure, just sugar and milk...That will do."

"Would you like it warm?" she asked with a pleasant smile.

TaKeo smiles "Sure"

She nodded and disappeared into the kitchen for several minutes and when she returned she had a mug full of milk mixed with sugar and she handed it to him. "Anything else?@"

"Could you tell me anything about this town? Anything.......unusual?"

Takeo sips on milk while he waits for her to talk

She thought for a moment, her fluffy tail twitching and she rubbed the top of one foot-paw with the others pads on her other.
"Um... I don't think so... I guess there's been a lot of talk about werewolves but I don't believ any of it."

"Any...." Leans in closer to Mariah and whispers "Vampire Hunters?"

She blushed a bit when he leaned in to her and she shook her, "No... Why? Are you trying to join some?"

Takeo laughs "As if id join them idiots"

She frowned then finally caught his scent and her eyes went wide with fear, "Y-you're... You're not alive!" she opened her mouth to scream.

"Shhhh! Not so loud!" Takeo jumos up and covers Marihas mouth. "Dont give me away...got it?"

Her mouth was shut and as soon as he let her go she backed away, "I-I need to tell the guards!" she said though it was in a whisper and she turned then began running out of the inn and towards the guard house.

"Idiot....well no helping it I guess, it would have happened sooner or later" Takeo gets up quickly finishes his sweetmilk and walks out of the tavern and runs after Mariah. "Hey! I said dont give me away! Get back here!"

(Or it could be night and he chases her so that she can't tell them x3 unless you already thought about that and decided no.)
