A young looking girl with red bangs had swung on to a nearby branch of a tree just as some kind of humanoid creature. The creature had all sharp jagged teeth, with claws to match. It's skin was a mixture of reds, blues, and greens. It had the shape of a man well into his 20's but also had a long snake-like tail, with spikes at the end of it.
As for the girl in the tree she had blood red eyes, fangs it seemed, and smaller than the creature's claws. She had more of a human like body compared to the creature that seemed to be in battle with her. She had bright red bangs but the back part of her hair was black and ended at her back. She had pale skin. Somehow she also had a tail that was similar to a devils.
The creature rammed it's head into the tree, trying to knock the girl down. she did a front flip, landing on her feet behind the creature. It charged at her like a crazed beast on a rampage. The girl slide under the creature making it ram into a tree and break the tree into two.
The tree fell with a loud bang that would've caused attention if they were not deep into the heart of a forest that was marked unknown.

A monstrous echo bounced through the trees of the forest, scaring away the prey Ixen had been tracking all day. The deer's head looked to where the noise sounded and darted off. Ixen growled under his breath and dropped from his tree top perch, his wings breaking his fall. His wings were not a crafted mechanism, none of his race were yet capable of inventing something like that. Ixen was a dragon. Although many thought they walked on all four, like an animal, they resembled Humans in posture and speech, just like elves, dwarves, and any other race does.
His padded wooden armor blended in with the bark, but against the green undergrowth the only thing that helped conceal him were his green scales. This actually worked as a camouflage of sorts when he was in the green trees. So, in this camouflage of armor, the dragon head out towards the noise, his curiosity leading his ever foot fall.
It did not take too long for him to see commotion from beyond the foliage. Ixen tilted his head, unsure what it was, but it did not sound good. He had already encountered one great beast that wanted his blood, he did not want another. Ixen was still twenty yards off, moving silently, when he began climbing. His wings beat against the air when he needed leverage, giving a barely audible sound. From atop the tree he gazed down at the sight below.

The girl was behind the creature once again, it quickly turned and ran after her, she pulled out her dagger and jammed it into the creatures torso, then made a swift movement to the left, cutting the monster half way through it torso. She grinned then quickly stabbed it in the heart once it had fallen. She then shifted out of her animal form and back into her human form, but she ended up falling to her knees panting.
She took in the ragged breaths, trying to slow her racing heart from that. It always took so much energy out of her when this happened. Soon Suta, her little gray dragon friend, flew down to her side then shifted into a little human boy. "You need food." He said simply and went over to where her fallen backpack lay. He quickly pulled some of the fruits they had picked not long ago and brought it to her. She quickly ate them and sat up with a sigh.

Ixen blinked at the sight, then growled. Magic. A human and a magic user. Ixen did not trust either and was not sure how to act. His bow and quiver clacked as he jumped to the next tree, his shadow moved along the forest floor as he through the air, wings beating in both the physical world and that of shadows. The leaves too made noise when he landed, sending a few cascading down down onto those below as he jumped until he was almost over them. The breeze did the rest of the work to make them reach the girl and her company.
The orange eyes of the dragon looked down on her, studying her. His book was in a small sack that hung with his quiver, he debated scribing the events he just saw. His hand came to it just as the branch snapped, sending him tumbling down below.

Kuro had heard the sound his bow and quiver made, but brushed it off as nothing to worry about, until she heard someone fall then she quickly turned around, her knife in her hand and ready to attack at a moments notice. "Who are you?" She growled, on guard and also standing in front of Suta to make sure he was not in harms way. Even at her weaken state, she still stood strong and tall, but she was still panting a trickle of blood ran out of her nose as she was pushing her limit.
Ixen's wings beat against the air, but they did little more than slow his descent. As he crashed, lightly, onto the earth, his wings spread out and he landed on his quiver. Thankfully no arrow punctured it, or his skin, although he would be sore.
As the dragon moaned and looked around, his gaze fell upon the girl. He seemed to be dazed and must not have heard the question because he did not answer. When he snapped out of his daze and realized where he was, and who was there, he almost jumped out of his scales. A hiss came through his sharp teeth and his wings beat against the dust as he wipped out his own dagger.
"I'm a hunter. What are you fleshling?"

Kuro glared at the dragon, waiting for a reply from him but none came she was going to speak again but then he spoke. "That is none of your business." She growled.
(Sorry for the short reply. I am on my ipod.)

"Says the smaller one," he retorted. He scooted back and picked himself up, brandishing his own dagger and holding his wings out behind him to make him appear larger. It was a feral trick he used against animals.
Kuro just simply shrugged, uncaringly. "It isn't the size of the dog bit the size of the fight in the dog." She said calmly, clearly not caring.
Ixen blinked and gave her a blank look. He had no idea what a dog was. "A bite?" Ixen said as his lips pulled back, revealing his jagged teeth. The wings came down slightly, now only being half open. He was still a menacing site to most, although most weren't able to do what this girl had just done.
Kuro rolled her eyes at this, the simply sighed. "Mind explaining why you feel the need to try to intimated me?" She asked, getting off the large monster that she was on, and Suta turned back into a dragon, flying down at her side as she sat down with her legs crossed.
"Intimidate? Oh no, I was just curious what a precious snack was doing so far from fleshling boundaries." Ixen sheathed his knife and picked up his bow and a few arrows that had fallen out. Then he fixed the wooden armor that protected his legs, never taking his eyes off the girl.
Suta raised an eyebrow at the creature in front of them as it seemed to be a bit on the clumsy side of things. "For a dragon, you aren't the most graceful of them." He commented, not caring much on how he would react to it. "Snack?!" Kuro said, clearly not too pleased with her being called such a thing. "Why I am out here is none of your business, I would suggest you leave now. I have no time for this nonsense." She said as she began to walk away from the creature, but she could still tell if he tried to attack.
The refusal to answer enraged Ixen. "Why you are here is entirely my business Fleshling!" He snarled. His wings shot up as his tail curled a little to one side. "Fleshlings mean death, and you are a fleshling. I don't want any more of my people killed." This his voice calmed down and turned from enraged to pained, "you've already taken my hunting partner." His wings slowly drooped and his tail became more limp. "I must protect my people."
Kuro looked at him in shock when he said hunting partner. "What? This monster was after me. He was sent out to kill or capture me. I was protecting myself and I have no reason to kill your people, for goodness sake's, I have a dragon with me now." She swirled around to look at the creature and pointed to Suta who then shifted into his little gray dragon. "I have been raising him since he hatched from his egg and I treat him like my son. I hate killing and I only fight when I am challenged. I am leaving now so you have nothing to worry about, I plan to stay out of places that are populated and I hide away in the forest." She said, clearly annoyed. Her jaw was clenched and her hands were balled into fists then she released them and let out a breath through her mouth, which had let out some steam with it. "Just forget I was ever here. I promise that you will never have to deal with me ever again." She said calmly.
"There is a difference between what we both call dragons," he said with an annoyed tone. "And I wouldn't go that way. You cross dangerously close to a territory claimed by a race even more vial than your own. We were at war with them once, rumors say they will kill anyone near their land out of hatred."
Kuro stops walking then looks at the dragon boy. "And why do you feel the need to tell me this? You were just willing to kill me and now you are stopping me from being killed by someone else?" She was now curious about this guy, he seemed to be a complex person.
"That was when you were more of a threat. This is when you are less of one. Generally I hate your kind, but there was another girl who used magic and was not a threat. It seems those with powers and those without are not the same in your species." Hunter thought for a moment. "Besides," he added with a toothy smile, "I wouldn't want to give them the pleasure." He turned to leave and motioned for the girl to follow.
Kuro raised an eyebrow when he had mention magic. "Magic? You think I use magic?" She shakes her head. "That is where it all went wrong in your mind, I don't use magic, my body changes form from the mix of genetics in my body that shouldn't be there." She explains, then follows him, but at a good enough distance where she could see him but run away if he attacked, Suta actually followed beside her, he had shifted back into his human form.
Ixen stopped in his tracks as the girl tried explaining it to him. He looked at her and just blinked. "What?" Although Ixen was smarter than most dragons, as his lust for knowledge made sure of it, dragon's were still not the smartest race.
