Dragon riders were once a powerful and mighty group. The humans who sat upon dragon’s backs and the dragons whose magic aided in protecting the kingdom. They were loved and revered until the humans became jealous of their strength. When someone slayed the first dragon, a war broke out. The dragons decided to retreat into the mountains to save themselves and the riders left behind were bitter, they were nothing without their dragons. Thousands of years later, dragons and humans are enemies.
Dragons have stopped talking to humans so people have assumed they are no more intelligent than a bear.
Y/C is the last dragon in the kingdom. Humans had hunted them and killed them or the remaining dragons fled. Your character grew up hearing stories from his mother about dragon riders and believes them to be the solution to ending the conflict. He is the descendant of the first dragon and decides to seek out the ancestor of the first rider.
He spent years searching and hiding until something pulled him towards a small farming village. There lived a young orphan named Ove (my character). She is not what your character expected. She is a child, very loud, very clumsy, and very annoying. Still, he takes her and that’s just the beginning of their journey.
(This is an ADV. LIT ROLEPLAY SO THREE+ PARAGRAPHS. Or two if the action is low. I was thinking that the dragon can be kind of grumpy and maybe a little full of himself. He isn’t really fond and is annoyed by Ove at first but as they bond, he does come to care about her.)

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Renaissance
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
