Hey RPR! It's been months
Miss you guys, especially the lovelies of Rayneth and my companions in the "Two Sides" roleplay. Willow is doing well... ...she sleeps through the night and doesn't drive me bonkers as I'd believed a baby would do. She's growing quickly and is pride of my life!
It's my regret to admit that the real reason I haven't returned is due to issues between myself and her father. Things are doing MUCH better now, but a while back he admitted he was under the impression that my interest for RP's superseded my interest for him. I thought it sounded absolutely silly, but he was quite serious, and so I've redirected the entirety of my attention to the great scary outernet. Eeeeeek.
I'm in the process of clearing out of the military at the moment. Again, eeeeeek. However, after this I'll be taking advantage of my GI bill and beginning online college. Should I find myself with a surplus of free time, I may very well return.
I hope all is well for my internet friends. You are missed

3. All hobbies like role-playing are time-consuming, her father will find. That is why they are hobbies, because one has the time to do them. Role-playing, in particular, relates to our very human desire to associate with other people in a social (and fantastical) context; in other words, it would tend to drive me nutty if I only limited my social life to one individual.

Hello Nicolette! I did get your message, and I just wanted to say I feel awful that my proposal came directly before my absence.
I did try to explain to him that it's difficult being so far from friends and family in California due to military life, and RPR/Furcadia has given me a tremendous opportunity to meet some new and fantastic people, but despite that he felt as though my friends here were becoming more important than him. I know it might sound a bit petty, but I do love him, so I've respected his feelings and refrained.
For the past couple of days however I've been daydreaming about the many extraordinary storylines I've left unfinished and felt the need to pop back in, at the least!

Also, thank you To be honest, the majority of infants I've seen sort of... gross me out. Haha. I'm not sure if it's because I'm her mother or because it's the truth, but I think she's the most beautiful baby I've ever seen.

PS: The last relationship he was in a few years ago ended when he discovered is {now ex} wife was cheating on him with several people through the internet which is why I disappeared altogether.
Also, festooning her with kisses is generally what I do with my free time, now

It is best to find a balance between the outside and the realm of the internet, though I do fear the day where I may have to explain my long hours of internet use, running about the Hollow and causing mischief as Tannis. To which, I would redirect and use Crow as my better example of activities, and then receive the strangest of looks. So, doomed~

It is not so petty if it is for someone. It almost sounds like a gift, of time.

Honestly, tho, it's good to hear from you again. You were missed most dearly! Of course I do hope we'll get to see more of you again, though of course real life has to come first! Good luck with college as well!

Miss- thank you! She's the greatest thing in my world, so I always hold compliments towards her in high regard I can't quite say I miss Crow all too much, but you definitely are missed~
And yes, I consider my time extremely precious, so I feel my loved ones deserve it most!

Just this morning I was wondering what had happened to you! We miss you a lot And while we'd like to have you back RIGHT MEOW, real life does come first, and Husbandman (everyone's favorite superhero!) needs some attention too When/if you do return to us, we'll be here to welcome you back.

I'd assumed Two Sides would persevere without me for awhile :x I'm sad to hear that it's stopped! But I do hope that it will continue, whenever it is that I come back. And as far as the brood of babies goes...
I'm scared to have another one x_x Willow is just SO GOOD, I feel like the fact that my first baby being so wonderful means that the next baby will be a terror, I mean, what are the chances of having TWO unbelievably sweet kids? I don't want to jinx myself... at least, not for a couple more years !

I miss our whimsical chatters tremendously Husbandman should be a legit comic. "Changing diapers by day, SAVING THE UNIVERSE BY NIGHT. Also changing more diapers at night." But have no fear- some reptiles do hibernate... perhaps when Rayneth's furious winter has passed, Naomi will emerge once more

I believe it did, regarding the Two Sides adventure. However, it did create a starting point, to where multiple characters were introduced to one another, which could create a backbone for another story.

It certainly proved to create a "favorite Crow moments" reel, for me. If I were an artist, I would make it into something that could play as my screen-saver.

I don't know you, but one line in your opening post of clearing out of the military caught my attention. I'm sorry, I did that a few months ago and it was a pain to go through. Good luck using your GI Bill, the VA has been anything but helpful when I tried using it.

Crow definitely is an interesting character, no denying that. There was a good deal of friction between her and the other adventurers, but it was interesting to have seen some recent tolerance [towards Aranel]. She's a character with a lot of potential.

Ugh, I'm not looking forward to it at all. My CIF turn-in is in a few days, I had everything on my clothing record {thank God} but it's a pain to get out these dirt/clay stains. And that's awful! I just had the final ACAP briefing last week where they go on and on about how "incredibly useful your VA is, go talk to your VA, we're here to help no matter what, etc etc etc". I hope you have some better luck with them soon

I think you're doing the right thing with your husband. It shows him a lot when you're willing to just totally step out at his request so that you can strengthen your relationship with him. I am very proud of you for taking that course, I know it certainly couldn't be easy. I've often thought of what my married life would be like, and lack of RP tends to crop up in my imagination of it.

But it's good to see you are doing well! College is going to be pretty neat for you, I hope you do well!

Thank you so much for the support~ I miss chattering with so many interesting people, but his feelings are very important to me. I do hope the best for all of you, and like I said, hopefully I can come hang out again later on. Oh, and I saw the Ice Fae you've created and checked them out, I think they're gorgeous! Omg those eeeeeeeyes! She has such a small and delicate face! Most babies have super duper chubby dubby cheeksies (which I find weird looking sometimes) but Willow just has this amazingly pretty baby face with enormous eyes and the most adorable little eaaaaars!!

She looks so pretty in black too, woah.
