"Well I guess we better get going then are you ready to go guys? Bas asked.
"What?! All that to make a sword?!" Marina exclaimed then turned to Bas, "You do realize that we are sort of on the clock. Nothing important EXCEPT A CULT TRYING TO SUMMON A GIANT DEMON TO DESTROY EVERYTHING!!! We don't exactly have time to go on a dangerous mission for ingredients."
"I know someone who could get us those ingredients... We could continue too search for this cult, than he will bring us those ingredients later on" He said putting his arrow back in his quiver
"Oh,yeah I kinda got a little side tracked there. Sorry guys, uh where do we go to take care of this demon cult cause I really want that weapon as soon as possible. Marina, Chris hop to it we haven't got all day you know. After all there's a demon cult we have to abolish.
"There's no time for getting a fancy new sword," Marina reprimanded, "Just have him sharpen what you've got and lets get going! They're not waiting for us to get there to open the gates of hell."
Chris smirked "Hay for all you know they are because they need you as a sacrifice" He mused, then turned too bas "But she is correct, We need too keep moving"
"Alright then I guess we should get going". He said to marina and chris. He then turned to the blacksmith "I guess we'll be back with the materials after we take care of the cult." "Alright guys let's go and take care of the demon cult".
She whimpered when Chris said she might be a sacrifice then crossed her arms indignantly, "Maybe they need YOU for a sacrifice!" she stuck her tongue out at him then made her way to her spot upon Bas' shoulder, "Let's get going then! Mush!" she barked, "Do we need anything else?"
"Hay at least I will be needed for something" He said crossing his arms "Well we better hope that none of us are needed for a sacrifice, Or we will have just doomed everything with half a brain cell" He said following them
Bas smirked as he walked on with marina sitting happily on his shoulder as they walked through the rest of the town where he eventually ended up at the Eastern gate to the city. "Well I guess we might be able to get to the next town before dark if we hurry, if any of you don't want to go we can stay in this town tonight if you guys want. We did pass a few good inns on the way here."
"I don't get it," Marina said to Chris and cocked her head to the side. She knew it was a joke, but she didn't really understand it. She turned to Bas and patted his head, "Let's keep going. No time to waste," she urged.
He sighed in relief, They would not be staying here. He followed them "Well If we were needed for a sacrifice we would have basically doomed everyone because if we had not been there at the time none of that would have happened, Therefore we would have lived out are final moments realizing we have doomed this planet" He finally gasped for air, Than caught back up "I have talked more in a day than I normally do in a month" he said sighing
"I was just making sure you guys weren't dying of exhaustion out here, you know always watching out for your guys well being I thought you guys cared." Bad started making fake sobbing noises then lifted his face up then made a slight smirk. "But if you guys want to get there quickly I would suggest that Chris keep up" And with that bas darted through the open gate clocking his top speed of about 50 mph with marina holding on tightly to his shoulder.
Marina let out a little shriek and jumped off of Bas's shoulder when he started sprinting then landed on Chris' shoulder.
"You can't run like that can you?" she giggled.
"You can't run like that can you?" she giggled.
"No.. But I dont need speed, Though if he runs into a wall or an angry beast im going too laugh" he said walking, He did not like running, walking did not tire him out and he felt more alert
Bas saw marina jump off and turned his head back to make sure that she didn't injure herself and continued onward toward the next town. Thankfully for his demon reflexes he could avoid most of the trees and anything else for the most part, but once he did trip over a good sized rock and nearly fell face first into the dirt. Bas reached the town a short while later and made a reservation at a comfortable looking inn for three. He then went and bought a good dinner and went back to the gate to wait for marina and Chris.
The two wouldn't reach the next town until nightfall, so Bas would be waiting a while.
"You know he's a demon, right?" Marina asked Chris absently, "No human can run that fast. He's a good demon though. He's a different kind. The demons we're going to destroy are like, ya know, the kind from hell... Bas is just a superhuman."

"I had my suspicions, The way he acted, and the way my sentinel friend spoke to him in demon, but the running gave it away" He said with a slight laugh, but then turned his head too hers "Did you select me? Or did someone you know give me that telephathic message in my dream?"
Sebastian pulled out a book from his back pocket and began to read while he waited for chris and marina to arrive.
"No," she shrugged, "I can't use telepathy or make visions. I just out up posters everywhere," she shrugged, "I personally don't like methods of communication like that. I don't like people invading my mind.
