After so many years of running from the law, Richard Alann started to learn the in and outs of the system. People believed what they wanted to believe, and saw what they wanted to see. They would abide by their own ruler because they were supposedly giving them what they wanted - even though it never amounted to much anyway. Rich didn’t really understand why people acted the way they did, but there wasn’t much he could ever do about it.

Those people believed what their ruler told them. They tended to ignore small facts that could change anything. Perhaps they’re satisfied with blind faith, or they don’t want to deal with diving any deeper. Therefore, they all thought Rich was a criminal - but he wasn’t.

Sometimes Rich still wished he were young and naïve, and thought the world was a great place where everybody loved everybody. As one grows a little bit older, though, it doesn’t take too long to realize that the world is full of hatred and lies. How was anyone ever sure that someone else was telling the truth? It could never really be proved, could it? Rich knew this, but that didn’t make him a pessimist.

Maybe the fact that Rich was an optimist in such a city like Adelmir made him seem, well, naïve. Adelmir wasn’t a city of optimists. Most people there focused on bad things that could happen, mainly because of the high crime rates that just refused to die off. Somehow, still, the Mirians trusted their ruler. Perhaps they didn’t want to deal with something worse than crime - and that the ruler himself was possibly worse than all the crime in Adelmir.

How ignorant of them. Sometimes Rich liked to think he was in a better situation than the civilians even though his face was on a ‘Wanted’ flyer. At least he knew what was going on behind the curtain. At least he knew the truth.

Adelmir, Mondlosen, a once thriving city taken over by Blake Black, who killed his own father to rule. He framed the murder on his two friends, Richard Alann and Alex Wannet. Alex was caught that night by the cops and the soldiers (the soldiers being the people who work right under Blake), but Rich had escaped. He spent 7 years running and hiding, trying time and time again to jailbreak Alex. Rich is sly, smart, but reckless and unwise. While he always manages to escape the grasp of Blake, he gets injured and/or hurt every time and had earned to tune out the pain. He's dogged, but maybe too much so.

He lives in an underground lab/base with Dr. Andy Anderson, his father figure who has raised Rich since he found him out on the streets alone when he was young. He's the only one who knows the truth (other than, of course, Rich, Alex, and Blake). He protects him, but can't help but always worry for him and his recklessness.

He meets Atlantis and Jayla while taking a bounty from a high, powerful, notorious criminal of Adelmir, Matt Emerson (or 'The Vulture'). They make a deal, and he eventually tells the two the truth. They agree to help him. Anthony is one of Blake's soldiers who works extremely hard to be the best there is, but no matter how hard he tries, nothing ever pleases Blake. He's got a hard, cold outer shell, but Atlantis manages to get through to him after a lot of convincing and Anthony agrees to help and betray Blake - because then it will show Blake how much he is needed.



This is my novel Adrenaline. I won't spoil the ending, but I really want to do a rp with it. There is a lot more to the story than that 'short' summary, but the other details you can learn along the way This is an AU. Please don't steal any of my ideas for I am planning on publishing this some day.
