I'm trying to respond to someone, but when I try to send it says my message is too long to be saved yet my message is only 30 words long. I've tried deleting very old messages and also changing what I wrote, but it continues to not let me send.
Do you have all the auto quoted text in the message as well? After a long amount of time the auto quoted text manages to hit the character limit.

Did removing the auto quoted text work for you?
Yeah, I just sent a message strait to the character rather than responding to the message.
