Okay I'm just you average possibly crazy 16 year old but I am curious about ghost hunting (no not like Going around performing excorsims. Ghost hunting is when you go check out possible haunted areas and see if it is possible that there is ghosts, totally different concept) Now I want to know some possible areas that is haunted. What I ask is that you be specific and don't say the obvious one(Alcatraz if you didn't know) I would like that you guys suggest ones like the Scotney Castle in England which is home to the "Dripping Ghost"(I can tell you the legend about it if you ask about it) also please tell me the legend or story behind it.
A local one for you, local to me that is. Around here people simply call it Buck Hill. The story goes that a logger returned home from collecting fire wood and his wife tells him that their daughter ran after their dog who got outside on the harsh winter night. The logger searched and searched eventually went mad searing for his daughter. now if a young woman cries out "daddy daddy I'm here!" A ghostly light appears. At this point most people run away, and usually the ghost light follows for a bit. I've heard that if a guy says it things will get "thrown" at him and that an angry man can be heard.

I never tried, I've had enough of my own experiences that I don't need a crazy logger ghost following me. But I hope this feeds your curiosity :)

Paranormal activity is one of my favourite things ever - if it weren't for the fact that my In-Laws are paying for my education, I would be aiming for a degree in parapsychology rather than psychology.

Here where I live there is a huge underground parking lot and I found out that if you go in there late at night you are supposed to be able to hear someone whispering your name but no source. Of course at a creepy place like this there is bound to be one story that escalates. I always try to have an open mind when it comes to this, but with doubt.

Since I work in the mall above the parking garage, one night I don't walk home. Instead I go into the parking lot. No one I know is still at work and normally after work I would just walk the three blocks home. I'm down there for about ten minutes before I hear a whisper.

I start walking towards it, but there is nothing there of course. Another whisper, this time louder. It's not my name, but it's beckoning me. It happened another three times, never my name, but it wasn't scary, it was just odd. Everyone else who has heard it insists it's always their name. Maybe I broke it?

Do you have any additional info like a name for the urban legend or any other info?

How about a picture of the place at least
Actually there are a lot of stories in my downtown area where my/our shop is located! The entire area was actually at one point completely owned by Al Capone. It is called Johnson City and here is a picture of the old bank building up from the street from the area I am going to describe http://www.johnsoncitypress.com/data/graphics/newsroom/New-Apartments-5.jpg You can't see it in the picture, but there are still pointed cast iron pieces placed on the window sills to keep gangsters and the like from sitting in the windows of the bank.

A friend of ours who owns a few of the buildings downtown also owns the one right across the street from us. It is in this particular building that he claims to have found Al Capone's stash, the likes of which the government looked for for ages after the notorious gangster's death without any luck. He claims to have had it taken away with the hopes of getting it given to a museum instead of back into government hands (because to this day they would probably still like to have it) and then filled in the basement with cement. That could all be a big yarn, of course, but the upstairs of the building is haunted and my business partner and I went in it this halloween for funsies and to find out for sure! 'Professional' ghost hunters had been up there before, requesting to be locked in all night, but at about 10pm they called him asking to be let out. hahaha. But we didn't see anything bad up there so they were probably just being giant a-holes.

There was nothing that I can say was spectacular. I can see them, so for me it is more like 'oh... hey' instead of 'HDKSFHSD'. June kept saying that a girl had overdosed in the building (it has been being used as a club mostly) and kept looking for someone like that, but the only one I remember having a kind of a form was a young male. Probably in his 20s, smartly dressed so it is hard for me to pinpoint if he may have been a gangster or anyone from that era on. I remember him really wanting to dance. Then later when I had to leave because I had to go out of town the next day, the door to go out had been jammed! We were going in and out all afternoon, and for some reason we were now stuck tight. It wasn't the lock that was jammed, but the door itself was jammed in its own doorway! June, her husband, and I all tried to push it open, but ultimately her husband had to force it open by hitting it with a cinder block. June made the passing comment, "Someone really doesn't want you to leave!" And there was probably truth to that. Though I feel it was more out of loneliness than maliciousness. I don't buy the hype that all spirits are malicious, though I guess those make for more interesting stories.
