she was walking down the road. there was a black cloth over her eyes and a sword at her side. she seemed lonely and she let out a sigh. she kept her head down and her hands in her pockets. her long black hair was smooth and silky as raindrops ran through it. it was shining in the moonlight. she didn't have a hood or an umbrella. she took her hand out of her pockets as it started to rain and rubbed her arms with her hands because she was getting cold. she continued to walk alone on the sidewalk.

It wasn't often Alucard sat in the rain, but it was a form of water he could get close to so he didn't Care. As the girl walked past him he noticed there was something different about her. But he hardly had time to think of that. Suddenly he sensed the presence of an enemy, and it was close by. "Where are you? Stupid youths, can never keep their presence hidden. As he was about to get up, he saw a large group of men walking towards the girl. "I should go help her." Alucard turned into a shadow and stood behind the girl.

as the large group of men came towards her, she stopped walking and just stood there with her head down. she wasn't scared and she showed no emotion. she placed her hand on her sword and gripped the handle. Her putting her hand on her sword gave a warning that she wasn't afraid to attack or anything. if these men weren't careful, they would each loose their life with a blink of an eye.

The men pulled out knives. "We don't want any trouble, just give us all the money you got. And show us a little something."

That last one set Alucard off. He didn't like it when his targets tried to attack a human, and the idea of them trying to do something vulgar definitely angered him. Coming out from behind the girl, Alucard pulled out his twin pistols and shot four out of six of them. "Die you heathens! You dare call yourselves vampires?!"

she gasped and she looked up at the person who came from behind her. she flinched at each gun shot and took a step back. her mind started flowing with questions 'who is this guy? why is he helping me? was he fallowing me?' she stood there and let him do what he what doing. she actually felt a little frightened by this random stranger coming to her aid and the word he used "vampires?" she asked herself

Putting aside his blind rage he realized he just shot a multitude of vampires that looked like human in front of a human girl. While he was unfocused, the two survivors jumped away and transformed into tall pale figures with razor sharp claws. Alucard sighed. Its bad enough he blew his cover in front of a human, now he had to use his powers. Using magic energy, the vampire called upon a sword he made a pact with and sliced the two men with it, making them disappear into thin air. Turning around, Alucard remembered the girl was there. Getting a better look at her he did think she looked sort of cute. The only odd part about her was the sword she had and whatever she had wrapped around her eyes.

she started to tremble with fear. she started walking back away from this stranger. he may have saved her but she didn't know how to react to this. she was afraid that this stranger might hurt her to. even though he saved her. she was filled with all kinds of emotion. she gave a small "thank you" to the stranger and continued waking back.

"Darn it." He thought. "I must look like the world's biggest psychopath. I need to catch up with her. And I need to come with some sort of excuse. Yeah, sure. Find a completely valid excuse for killing six seemingly innocent people. I'm so screwed." Alucard ran to catch up with the girl.

she continued walking and once she herd his footsteps, she walked faster. 'why is this guy fallowing me?!' she thought to herself. she put her head down and tried to pretend he wasn't there. maybe he was trying to get somewhere and he was going to run past her? no... she was over thinking this.

"Excuse me, ma'am. I don't mean to bother you. This isn't what it looks like. I-uh, well-" Alucard scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, this isn't coming out right. Can I go get you a coffee or something inside where I can explain?"

she turned around to face him when he started talking. she sneezed into her sleeve then nodded "A coffee would be nice" she said. she was soaked and she started to shiver a little. A bunch of questions started flowing through her mind.

As they walked inside, Alucard bought two coffees and brought them to a table. "So, ask away." He felt no reason to hide anything. And plus, she was entitled to the truth.

"what are you?" she asked and took a sip of her coffee. she just drank it black. that was the very first thing she wanted to know.

"I expected that to be a question eventually. No need to lie I guess." Alucard leaned over closer to the girl. "I'll have to whisper it so I don't alert anyone. I'm a vampire." Alucard sat back in his chair.

her eyes widened then they softened and she chuckled "your kidding right?"

"I'm afraid not. My name is Alucard. And I am an almost 100% vampire" Alucard took a sip of his coffee.

her eyes widened then softened. she took a sip of her coffee again "im Glothelia but people call me Glothl for short. why did you help me?"

Alucard put his coffee back on the table. "I feel that vampires shouldn't try to take advantage of humans. When I saw them attacking you I couldn't just stand by and watch. That and I especially hate it when they attack women. Not to mention you don't look to bad if you don't mind me saying."

she lightly blushed and she drank her coffee "thank you" she said "no further questions..." she said and continued to drink her coffee trying to hide her blushing

"You're welcome, although I'm afraid I can't let you walk away from here. Sorry, you have to come with me to the castle of my parents. I'm afraid that they are the ones that told me to bring back whoever I told our secret to."
