"so... your gonna try to kidnap me?" she said with a chuckle

"I'm afraid so. Sorry. I'll try and make it so my parents don't decide to have you killed." A cloud of bats surrounded the coffee table. When they disappeared, the two people and their coffees and table in the center of a large castle.

"Welcome home son. And I see you brought her with you. Good!" Alucards father sat on the throne, a glass of wine in his hand.

her eyes widened under the cloth "hey! take me back!" looks around and stands up.

"Sorry, I won't allow it." Alucards mother walked out from a door near the throne. She was thin and wore a red dress with a cloak that flowed behind her.

"Mother. Why have you blocked off my powers? Do you not trust me anymore?"

"Don't try to change the subject, boy! You have done something unforgivable! You have told a human of our existence! If you weren't my child I'd strangle you!"

"uh..." she walked back. she didn't fell safe with anyone. not even the person who just saved her life, could make her feel safe at the moment. she was very scared and uncomfortable.

Alucards mother teleported behind the girl. "And just where do you think you're going? You're the cause of this you know."

Alucard walked over and stood in between his mother and glothl. "Mother, enough. Its bad enough she was brought here against her will. Not to mention the fact that the vampires attacked her!"

Alucards mother slapped the young vampire. "Don't you dare take that tone with me!" Alucards father stood up from his throne. "Maria, please calm down. I know this isn't the best situation, but we have to tend to what's at hand." The couple walked back to the throne and his father sat back down.

she gasped when his mother slapped him. she didn't know what to do in a situation like his. "what kind of mother are you?" she asked. she had to speak up for Alucard. she didn't care if it would cost her. her life. she wouldn't just let that go without her saying anything.

Maria turned to look at glothl. "And just exactly who are you to judge my parenting?" A ball of flame appeared in Maria's hand.

Fearing his mother would try to attack the girl, Alucard pulled out one of hos guns and stood in front of glothl. "Mother, please extinguish that flame." Alucard could feel himself shaking. This was the first time he stood against his mother and her magic.

"How dare you, you ungrateful child!" Bringing her hand back, Maria prepared to throw the fireball when alucards father stopped her. "Maria, please settle!" Maria looked at him, then extinguished the flame. "Very well william. I shall try to be calm." Maria gave glothl an intense glare.

she placed her hands on Alucard's shoulders and she shook in fear. "im sorry..." she whispered to him. "I want to go back... I don't want to be here and I want you to come with me." she knew what it was like to be abused by your own parents.

"Now, son. I would like you to explain to me and your mother how you came to meet this human in particular."

As Alucard explained himself, his parents payed complete attention. Although Maria was still giving glothl the look of death. When he was done, his parents turned away and began to quietly argue. When they turned back, Maria looked even angrier, but William did the talking. "Alright, we've come to a decision."

she gripped onto his shoulders as tight as she could. it wasn't very tight considering she was still shaking. she didn't want to say anything else and she felt like she was gong to pass out.

"We wil allow the girl to live."

Alucard smiled. He was glad his father had been here, or else glothl might not have lived.

she sighed in relief and her grip loosened. she then smiled but she didn't move

"Don't start celebrating yet! There's a catch."

Alucards smile vanished. "What is it, father?"

"She will now live with us here. And you two now must be married."

Alucard fell face first onto the floor, as stiff as a board and as red as a cherry.

her eyes widened huge and her face went dark red. "married to a vampire!?" she chuckled and fell back because she passed out.

When Alucard woke up he was in his room of the castle. Sitting up he looked around, but didn't see glothl. "We set her in a vacant room in the castle." Looking at the door, he saw his mother at the door. It looked like she had calmed down from earlier, but she obviously still wasn't completely happy. "You're wondering why we decided this aren't you?" Alucard sat at the edge of his bed. "I would like to know." Maria walked over to her son. "Because I felt that if you felt so strongly about protecting her that you'd be fine with this. This is the only option for you that allows her to live." Alucard stood up and walked past his mom. "I'm sorry we argued earlier. Me and your father put her in the room on the south wing of the castle. Oh, and your baby brother will be back from his trip to grandmothers tomorrow. We will be inviting everyone over for the wedding." Alucard walked out of the room, his red sun proof cloak hanging up in his room along with his guns.

after a while, she started to wake up. she had a headache so she placed her hand on her forehead and slowly opened her eyes and looked around the room. "what happened?" she asked herself and she tried to remember why she passed out. her eyes widened "I have to live here and marry a vampire" she told herself. she untied the cloth around her eyes and she held it in her hand. she closed her eyes and tried to clear her head.

After walking for a while, Alucard found glothl's room and knocked on the door. "Glothl? You there?"

"ya... you can come in" she said. she was gripping tightly onto the cloth and her other hand was still on her forehead

Opening the door, Alucard walked into the room and sat down. "I'm sorry about this. If I had known this would happen, I would've tried not to get you involved."
