she sat close to the girl and kept her hands near her just in case she started slipping.

Soon they wer through the front door and lucard set everyone down and transformed back into a human. The little girl giggled. "Lets do that again!" She yelled excitedly. Alucard looked at glothl. "There's no choice. We're going to have to take her back with us to the castle." Just as he teleported them back, the man on the roof shot Alucard in the arm. When they arrived hack at the room, Alucard put the little girl onto the bed and kneeled down on the floor.

"Alucard! your arm!" she said and she kneeled down next to him

Alucard put his other hand on his hurt arm. "Whoever was chasing us shot at us. Did you guys get hit?"

"no, were fine. tell me how to take the bullet out and I'll heal the wound. if I ever find that guy, hes a dead man." she said and she started to get angry.

"Don't worry about the bullet." A wolf made of shadows walked into the room and licked the hole the bullet left. Whe it did, the bullet fell out of Tue young vampires arm. Its job done, the wolf disappeared. "All I need you to do is heal the wound now. And try not to get mad. We do have the little girl here, remember?"

she sighed and she healed her husbands wound then stood up. "ill try to calm down" she said then she stood up and crossed her arms wile pacing back and forth.

Alucard sat down on the bed next to the little girl. "What's your name, little one?" He asked. The little girl smiled. "I'm Isabella! I'm six years old! The hunters said I was a vampire. Mister, are you a hunter?"

She smiled at the little girl and she calmed down quite a bit

Alucard chuckled. "No, I'm not a hunter. My name is Alucard and this is my wife glothl. Where are your parents Isabella?" Isabella looked a bit sad. "I don't have any. The hunters killed my mommy. I don't know what happened to my father."

her smile faded away and she sat next to the girl and she hugged her.

Isabella looked up and gasped. "Mommy!" The little girl hugged glothl and smiled widely. Alucard laughed so hard he fell off of the bed.

she gasped and her eyes widened at the girl calling her 'mommy' "Alucard!" she yelled and she threw a pillow at her husbands head. she pulled the girl into her lap and continued to hug her.

"I'm glad you're okay mommy!" Isabella held tighter to glothl, a tear forming in her eye. Alucard lay on The ground, still giggling with hos head under a pillow.

"Alucard! stop laughing!" she yelled and her eyes started to glow red. she felt this was no laughing matter. she did no find this funny at all.

Alucard took the pillow off of his head. "Sorry. Its just that she's so adorable its really funny." Isabella looked up at glothl. "Are you alright mommy?"

she took a deep breath and her eyes went back to normal. she looked down at Isabella and she gave her a sweet smile. "yes, im alright." she said then she kissed Isabella's head.

Isabella smiled. Alucard stood up from where he had been sitting and sat next to the two. "So we're taking her in?"

Glothelia nodded her head and she looked at her husband "yes, I cant even think about sending her back."

"Agreed. I won't allow hunters to continue to hurt innocents. But I won't take the same path as my brother and loath humans." Suddenly Robert and Megan flew into the room and landed on alucards head. "We hadn't seen you two in a while, so Robert was getting worried and we cake to see you." Isabella looked up at Megan and tried to climb alucards arm.
