she had a mad look on her face. "it kinda does... but, I shouldn't complain." she said then sighed "I just hope there aren't any more surprises" she said and looked down with her arms crossed with still a mad look on her face. she has to go through all these things with this person and she doesn't even know if he loves her. hes being forced to do things just as much as he was though.

Alucard felt bad when they reached his room. His parents were annoying sometimes but this was an extreme. Glothl probably didn't even like him for all he knew and now they were being forced to share a bed. "You can sleep in the bed, I'll just sleep on the floor." After all that she had been through today, Alucard felt that glothl deserved the bed more than he did. The young vampire began to think he had taken a liking to his new fiancee, but it would take more than just a days time to find out if the feeling was mutual.

"you don't have to do that. this is your room, you don't have to change anything for me. were are to be married anyways, so why not get used to sleeping in the same bed" she said lightly blushing. she was growing a liking to him as well. he would already protect her at all costs. 'is he protecting me because he has to or does he want to?' she sighed. she always would overthink things.

"Are you sure? I could sleep on the floor, I really don't mind. Although its not exactly the ideal place to sleep." Alucard went into his bathroom and changed into a pair of sweatpants he wore to bed.

"ya, im sure. its fine, really." she said and her mad face disappeared. she simply just smiled and walked over to the bed and sat on the edge of it. "you've done a lot for me, I don't want to pay you back by taking your bed" she said and chuckled to herself

Alucard sat on the other side of the bed. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot to tell you! The bathroom doesn't have a shower, so you're going to have to go to the north side of the castle and use the large bath that we have there. And after you meet my brother tomorrow you'll have to accompany me on my regular day of life at the castle. I think it'll help you get used to the place." Alucard got under the covers and lay there.

she sighed and got under the covers. "what is a regular day of life here?" she asked curious "and what's your brother like?" she hadn't taken her hand off her necklace yet and she closed her eyes and laid down. she was listening and not falling asleep though.

Alucard chuckled. "My brother has always been somewhat weaker than me, physically and mentally. Even though we got the same lessons from Elizabeth. Although through the years we've always stood up for each other. I remember when a pack of wolves had found him outside while there was a raging snowstorm and I had to go get him. In short I think he's a good person, but he has a certain bias against humans that I've never understood, so he might be a jerk for a couple days as he's trying to get used to you. And my normal day is actually pretty interesting, or at least I thought it to be so. Breakfast, then swordplay against the enchanted suit of armor in the south part of the castle. After that there's me playing the piano, lunch, martial arts, and I end right before dinner with horseback riding and wolf training."

she smiled "that sounds fun. this seems better than my crappy life I had. maybe meeting you and all thats happened, isn't a bad thing. ive had worse days than this" she sighed to herself. she shook her head and tried to change the subject "so... uh... how do you feel about all this?"

Alucard blushed. "Well-uh-I-, I think this should be fun. It'll be good to have a companion at the castle. Not to mention I'm glad that if I had to be forced into marriage that it was with someone I think is a nice person. You may he right. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all. What do you think?"

"I'm honestly fine with it, a little freaked out, but fine. im glad that im marrying someone who would protect me. any other guy I would go out with would either take advantage of me, or rob me of all my belongings. im glad your not like that. right?"

"Right. Thievery is something I'd never be able to accomplish. Anyways we're going to need to get some sleep if we're to be ready for tomorrow. Goodnight glothl."

"alright, goodnight alucard"

The sun shone through the window the next morning as Alucard finished getting dressed. Walking over to the other side of the bed he looked through the closet for a shirt to put on and found a plain black t-shirt. "Hey glothl, you awake yet?" He called to her.

she started to wake up "hm?" she asked then rolled, falling off the bed "Oof!" she groaned and sat up rubbing her head "im not a mourning person..."

"Here, let me put you back into bed." Alucard picked up his fiancee and out her back on the bed and covered her with the covers. "Thomas won't arrive until 10 and its 8:00 right now so if you want to sleep some more that's okay. I'll wait for you in the dining hall if need be."

"are you sure?" she asked in a tired groggy voice and she got comfortable again.

"I'm sure. If you want to Get more sleep go ahead. I just have to go tend to the beastiary and then I'm going to the dining hall to wait for you."

she smiled "ok, ill meet you there" she said then closed her eyes and started to fall back to sleep

Quietly Alucard closed the door and walked to the beastiary down the hall. He didn't mind having to tend to it, in fact if asked he'd say he enjoyed it. From all of the different language lessons he had gotten from Elizabeth over the years he found he could freely converse with all creatures. As he walked through and handed out breakfast into each of the cages and pits he heard murmurs of the fact that he and glothl were getting married. Finally when he got to the biggest cage while carrying the largest portion of food, hielo the ice dragon looked at the vampire with its large golden eyes. "Congratulations vampire cub. Its seems you are getting married." Alucard opened a small door in the cage and slid the food into the cage. "Yep. How did it reach here?" The Dragon took a bite of the large pile of meat in front of him. "Elizabeth came by last night. Her exact words were "the young master has a nice and beautiful girl as a fiancee hielo!" And it spread throughout the rest of the beastiary that way I guess."
Alucard smiled. Out of everyone else in the castle, hielo seemed to be surprised the least. "She is nice. And I guess beautiful is a word that describes her. Anyway I got to go meet her in the dining hall. See you later hielo." Alucard ran to the dining hall and began to wait for his fiancee to arrive.
