she jumped when Isabella yelled "Alucard! I just saw a younger you and Thomas!"

"No way! Which way did they go?"

she pointed in the direction the boys ran

A young girl with a puppy next to her ran the same direction. "No way! We definitely need to see this. Come on! Alucard picked up his daughter and held glothls hand as they ran through the hallway. Ahead of them, the sound of yelling and laughter could be heard.

she fallowed her husband and ran a little behind him. "this isn't creepy to you?"

"Nope. If I'm right, we are about to see a part of my own childhood." Alucard stopped a couple feet behind where the younger him and his brother were getting yelled at. The girl that had ran past them stood next to the Elizabeth of the past. "Honestly you two, I can't keep my eye off of you for a second! One minute your sitting at the table while I make lunch and the next you're running around the halls and yelling! Your father and mother are trying to work you know!" The little girl stepped forward after Liz had said her piece. "Can't you guys be more patient? Honestly, Frederic is better at listening than you two." The young Alucard frowned and turned his face away. "Well we can't all be goody goodies now can we, Megan?" A tear welled up in alucards eye. "Nevermind, I can't watch this." He whispered to his wife.

"its alright, lets go" she whispered back to Alucard.

Alucard sighed as he took one last look at the little girl and walked back to the door and opened it. "Too soon." He said to himself.

she glanced at Alucard then she walked into the room "are you alright?"

"I'll tell you when we get back." Alucard said as he began to walk to the other side where their time period waited for them.

"ok" she said and continued walking

When they were back, Alucard closed the door behind them and went into the bedroom to sit down.

she fallowed him then she sat on the bed. "now whats the matter?"

"That girl. A long time ago, she was planned to be my fiance. We grew up together. Her name was Megan, as I'm sure you could guess. But a long time ago, she just, disappeared. She was shizukas younger sister, and it was back when we were all kids or around that stage of life. A group of hunters attacked and took her away. I never knew if she survived or not, but her dog is one of shizukas wolves. Its the only one with a black stripe down his back and a permanent limp."

"aww, im so sorry about that. that's terrible"

"Its okay. Occasionally I would ask if I could go to the human world and look for her, but I was never allowed to leave the castle."

"w-what would you do if you found her?"

"To be honest, I'm not sure. I love Tue fact that I'm married to you and no one could change that, but I would at least bring her home to the castle so she could he with her sister. Plus I always thought she liked Thomas as opposed to me. And I hot the same thing from Thomas as well. I don't know if he ever noticed."

she sighed in relief and she put her hand on her chest "I thought you were gonna leave me for a second there"

Alucard kissed his wife on the cheek. "Of course not. I'd never leave you."
