her eyes widened at the thought. a few tears fell and dripped onto thee paper "don't say stuff like that! I don't want you to loose your life protecting me! I already feel bad for making you get slapped by your mom and you threatening to kill your own brother! I would never forgive myself if you died trying to protect me!"

"Alright I'm sorry. But its something I would willingly do there's no one I'd rather die for. Anyway, did you sleep well? Because I definitely didn't."

"awww. I didn't sleep well either. I had another nightmare and I woke up in the middle of the room gripping into my sword. at least I didn't hurt myself this time"

Alucard smiled. "I'm glad you're not hurt. I'm sorry about my brother earlier as well. Like I said he has a certain bias against humans and he insulted you so I wasn't going to put up with it."

"its ok, it didn't bother me. ive been called worse so that was more of a compliment. im stronger than I look. physically and mentally"

"I know that but I still feel I should protect you. He should be fine by tomorrow. I still feel bad though. Since yesterday I've felt that I took your life away from you on some level. I shouldn't have involved you"

"its ok. that girl was the only good thing in my life and shes happy for me now. she was always trying to get me to move out of the house and find someone and I did. there was no life to take away honestly. you have nothing to feel bad about."

"Okay, if you're sure. So what do you plan to have for breakfast with my mother's plate?"

"I don't eat breakfast."

"You don't? Why not?"

"im not hungry in the mornings. my first meal I usually eat at 2 or 3 in thee afternoon"

"Well from what I can guess we're going to have a lot of food at the wedding tomorrow. So you should try to drink something this morning."

she smiled "alright. I promise ill drink something. ill have a coffee so I can wake up some more"

"Okay." Suddenly, Maria teleported into glothls room. "What exactly are you doing?"

she jumped with a small scream. then she put her hand on her chest "you scared the heck out of me!"

Maria took the paper from the girl.

"h-hey! that's privet!" she said blushing as she stood up

"This is my sons handwriting. Where did you get this?" Maria asked, an amused look on her face.

Not knowing his mother was in the room with glothl, Alucard sent another piece of paper to her. "Hey, everything okay over there?"

she grabbed the paper and held it behind her back and didn't speak. she didn't want her to know about the mirror and she didn't want to get anyone in trouble.

Seeing something fall onto the floor and then the girl pick it up, Maria gave a questioning look at glothl. "Either ny eyes are failing me glothl or you're hiding something from me."
