she smiled "no, not really. what are you here for?" she asked trying to change the subject.

"I sensed the use of magic in both you and my sons rooms. And I was closer to your room so I thought I'd come and check up on you before I get something I need for the preparations. So I ask again, what are you doin in here?"

"just sitting around playing with my sword and my necklace" glothelia didn't want to lie and she didn't want Maria to find out about the mirror. 'if she finds out about the mirror, she might take it away' she thought to herself

Alucard was starting to get worried about glothl. Dropping another questioning note in, Alucard also began to meditate. His mother had always told him that was the best way to find the energies of other people. As he mentally searched the castle, he found glothl on the far end of the other side of the castle. But something was wrong. There was another presence, but he couldn't tell who it was. "They must be hiding themselves, whoever it is."

she just stood there silently hoping that Maria would leave soon she could wright back to alucard. she felt awkward and nervous being alone with alucards mom.

"Did something else drop from the ceiling just now?" Maria asked.

she looked at the note. she couldn't hide it anymore because she already saw it. she side and just sat on her bed and didn't speak a word.

Maria picked up the note. "So that's what it is."

she said nothing. she just sat silently and watched as maria looked at the note

Crumpling up the piece of paper Maria lit it on fire and clapped her hands together. "I didn't even think that he still had that old mirror. Well, tradition doesn't say anything about not being able to speak with one another." Maria looked at the clock on the wall. "6:12, huh? Well don't do it past 7:05. Understood young lady?"

she nodded "yes ma'am". she smiled and she stet the paper behind her back on the bed next to her. she opened thee plate and a cup of black coffee appeared. "why?" she asked curiously.

"That's when you have to start doing your preparations for the wedding. Don't worry, I'll come and get you when you're needed." Maria disappeared once again.

she smiled "ok" she grabbed another piece of paper and wrote "im sorry! your mother came in and she found out about the mirror. she said I have to stop at 7:05 though because that's when I to start my preparations for the wedding"

Alucard was glad his fiancee was alright. "She didn't try to hurt you did she?" He wrote.

"no, not at all. she was very nice. no harm what so ever"

Alucard brethed a sigh of relief. "So, you know my family. What was yours like?"

"uh... well... when I was born, my parents didn't want me so I was given to another family. the other family that I lived with abused me and treated me like a slave. they didn't care about me. my mother and faahter would strangle me until I passed out and my brothers and sisters would beat me till almost death. I would even get whipped, cut, or burned as a punishment. when I had enough of their torture, I ran away so I was on the streets for a few years. then noel found me. she was alone too so we built a house to live in. the only real family I had was noel." she said and a few tears dripped on the paper

Alucard felt a deep sense of anger. If only he had been there he could've helped. He didn't like the idea of slavery or the people near him getting hurt. And he guessed from Tue wet spots on the paper that glothl had cried when sue wrote it. "Those jerks! I wish I could teach them a lesson! I can't believe they would do that to you!"

she wiped her tears "its ok. that was the past. Im a new person, I have a new life, and im happy now. I get to be married to you, I'll have a kinder family, and now I have someone who wants to protect me instead of hurt me. she smiled "thank you for loving me"

As tough as a guy Alucard pretended to be, he began to cry. A couple of his tears fell on top of the places where glothls had landed. "You're welcome." He wrote.
