That night they managed to find a hotel with an empty room. It wasn't a bad hotel or anything, but it wasn't super nice either. Because of the short notice, their room had only one bed, a TV, a sofa and a small kitchen area.
"Uh... You can have the bed," he smiled at her.

She looked out the window most of the ride, watching the buildings and all past by.Thoughtful, and wonderous.She looked up at the hotel they stopped at, and followed him inside."I'm guessing you plan to take the couch...?" She asked looking around, then at him.It was a obvious answer, but it was conversation too

"Yep..." he nodded. The TV was in front of the bed and El smiled at her, "Wanna watch something for a while?"

She looked at the TV, and thought about it a quick second, before she nodded an okay."Sure" she said.

He sat down on one side of the bed and smiled at her as he flipped through the TV guide. "What to watch?" he asked absently.

She had sat down on the other side of the bed.Watching him flip through the channels.At least it seemed they had a lot of channels to pick from.She didn't respond to his question, she honestly wasent sure right now.She just saw channel, after channel.

He finally picked a movie that he just assumed she might like: The Notebook. It didn't take him very long to fall asleep and he slumped into her shoulder.

(And of course.I've heard of, but never watched.)

She watched the movie, she remembered watching this before.But a second time never hurt.After a while she felt Elemeno on her shoulder, she looked at him and silently giggled, not waking him up.So much for falling asleep on the couch she thought,

And again, he looked quite cute there, curled up into a ball with his head on her shoulder.

(I've never seen it either I just know its a chic flik)

She smiled alittle, looking down at him.

He murmured in his sleep again; it seemed to be a strange habit he had: talking in his sleep. Every once and a while she might be able to make out certain words. Some them were random and funny, for instance at one point he said "fart pickle," but most of the time the things Rin could make out were dark things like "Evil," "death," and "plague."

He was the only person she knew who talked in his sleep.Then again, she didn't know to many people.She listened as he murmered what she thought was random things, seeing as though she wasent sure at all what he was dreaming about.She had her head tilted for some things, some were funny, then a dark thing, then something funny, then more dark things, she wasent sure how to react.

After a while, his sleep became a bit deeper and he stopped his mumbling and just cuddled against Rin.

She listened to all he mummbled, until he fell deeper into sleep, and quieted down.I hope he's dreaming nice dreams now, she thought, since he had stopped saying stuff relating to evil, and death, and a bunch of other stuff.She lifted her hand a little, and gently pet his head.She knew he wasent in his wolf form, but still.She was careful not to wake him.

A slight smile grew on his face as she stroke his jet-black hair and he rubbed his cheek against her shoulder then out his arms around her waist. It seemed like it might take a bomb siren to wake him up at this point.

She noticed the slight smile.She continued to lightly, and gently pet his head, it seemed like he liked it, even in human form.She felt his arms wrap around her waist.She still didn't mind that.

El wouldn't wake up until morning unless she woke him up.

She petted his head for a few minutes, then stopped.She looked back at the TV, curious as to what was on now.A mystery movie, Storm Of The Century, by Stephen King, it was an old movie though.

El remained asleep still.
