"You gonna finish your pizza?" he asked after about 30 seconds of silence.
She nodded. After minutes later, she had eaten her pizza, except one piece.
"Should we take that or can I eat it?" he grinned and began reaching for it anyways. The slice was halfway gone before she could even protest, "Thanks. Let's go," he grinned. He had paid when he ordered it, so they could just get up and go.
"Do you have any questions for me?"
"Do you have any questions for me?"
She hadent planned to eat it anyway, so she didn't mind that he ate it."You can have it" she said. She nodded an okay, when he suggested they go."A couple" she said as she stood up, in response to questions. She probably had no more than 2 or 3 for now.
"Ask away," he smiled at her as they left the pizza place, "Ask em all at once," he suggested as they walked towards the edge of town.
She followed behind him.One question was pestering her the most, "why are you helping me?" She asked."Not that I mind it, though, but why? A gesture of kindness, or friendship..?" She asked. She knew she had helped him, but why did he choose to return the favor, and help her, why didn't he just leave her to find her own way back..not that she thought he was heartless or anything. She thought he was a nice guy.Two questions were mixed together in that question.
"Why not?" he countered, "You helped me, so I'm helping you. Also... It's been a long time since I made a friend," he smiled sheepishly, "I'm generally a good person too. I'm not just gonna leave you in the dust."
She didn't respond to his 'why not".When he said it had been a long time since he made a friend, she curiously asked, "how long?" She knew he was good, and a little bit, she was glad he was nice.
"I dunno... Five years? Ten, maybe? I've made acquaintances, but not any friends," he shrugged and sighed.
Long time.. she thought. She had a few friends at school, one or two.But two was better then none."Do.....do you think we're friends..?" She asked quietly. She didn't mean friends that are forgotten once separated for some time, she meant friends never to be forgotten.
"Well... I'd like to be... You're the first female even remotely related to me I've met since my mom and dad left," he blushed a little bit, "I don't meet many werewolves... And none my age... And they're all guys... So..." he looked away.
"So, we're friends?" She asked looking at him.
"I'd like to be..." he smiled a bit shyly, "If you're up for having another friend."
Without a whole lot of hesitance, she said "then I guess we're friends" with a sweet smile.
He blushed deeply, "I guess so..." he agreed. Soon they were far enough from town that there were no prying eyes and he changed into his larger firm then bent down for her to climb on.
She noticed his blush, but didn't make a bunch of commotion over it.She smiled sweetly at him and looked ahead as they walked.Once beyond the outskirts of town, she watched him change into his bigger form.Once he allowed her to climb on by bending down, she climbed on.It still felt a bit weird being a wolf, having to ride a wolf. But she guessed when you can't change into a bigger form like he can, its best.
He ran for about an hour before needing to stop to rest and drink. This happened twice more before they wound up at a two story cabin, an hour away from the next nearest town and in the middle of a forest.
"Well, this is home," he said after becoming human. He walked past a 1967 Mustang Fastback which was covered in a weather tarp then onto the wrap-around porch and into the house. He held the door open for her with a tired smile.
"You can call your mom from in here. There's a phone in the kitchen," he said, "Tell her you're okay. And just so you know, they've got no idea where this is. You can lay low here for a while until we get you back to California."

She just rode along, looking around every now and then.Stopping and getting off him, when he wanted a drink, and to rest, then getting back on him, on riding on again when he was ready. At some point during the long ride, and the end of the long ride infact, she looked up, and saw the two story cabin. It looked nice. She got off him, and waited until he became human, before proceeding on.She followed him up the door, and walked in as he held the door open for her.She looked around from where she stood. Its a nice place.. she thought to herself. She turned and looked back at Elemeno. She nodded an okay, and walked to the kitchen. There she called her mom, told her she was okay, that she'd be home soon enough, her mom told her she missed her, and how much Leo had missed her to.Her mom also questioned what happened, where was she this whole time, and all that stuff.Once all was settled, she hung up.
El was laying down on his sofa in the living room, a glass of water on the coffee table next to him.
"So, how'd it go? Is she okay?" he asked with a yawn, "And how long do you wanna stay here until we get going again?" he asked and drank.

Now that that was did and done, she walked back to the room she guessed Elemeno would be in.The living room."Good" she answered."She was worried sick, and panicking as to where on Earth I was this whole time, but now that she knows I'm fine, and that I'm coming home soon, she's good, she isn't a train wreck" she said."However long works for you" she said."I don't really have any specific time."
