"You don't have to be in the same dungeon as a lengendary to pick side with one. And what if you come across a Pokemon that is badly hurt, stuck under a rock for example, even though it's not in the job description? Things happen that we cannot control, and if that rock is too big for you to move alone, and she is paralyzed because she is scared of everything, then that pokemon's blood will be on he paws. Do you really think that she could handle guilt like that? Sasha is a very delicate girl, mentally if not physically. If you can prove to me she can handle it, then I won't argue and she's in. But right now she is not ready."
Chaos just nodded and sighed, giving up. "I will, just wait."
He crossed his arms and waited for Lucas' further instructions.

"You do realize she's leaving right now, right?" the left head chuckled, "You'd better get after her or she's gonna be gone."
Chaos blinked. "Er.. Right."
It was then that he ran after Sasha, calling for her to wait up. "Hey!"
It was then that he ran after Sasha, calling for her to wait up. "Hey!"
The orange and Black zorua looked back, "You gonna rub it in?" she asked. She knew full well why she didn't get picked and had the same thoughts as Lucas. Somebody could quite possibly die because of her, and she wouldn't be able to cope with that.
He flinched when she snapped. "No... I just.." Chaos' ears flopped down.
He sidled up next to her, whispering. "I just thought you should get another chance. Lucas says if I can prove him wrong- If-if you can handle doing smaller dungeons, he'll let you in. What do you say?"

She stopped and looked down at her front paws, "That's not a good idea... Someone might get killed because of me..." she glanced up at him, "Why do you care anyways? You'd be our org some other strong Pokemon, not me. You'd be doing more important missions as soon as you started because you've already had experience, right?"
Chaos sighed.
"I care 'cause you're my friend. I don't want some big strong Pokémon to help me. Plus, I've got a good feeling that you'd be a big help if you can just learn to cope with dungeon situations. There aren't many Dark types I know, anyways. I don't think you'd be responsible for any Pokémon dying, either. Worst thing that happens, we get knocked out, and have to send out SOS mail. Pelipper's pretty good about getting mail places fast, anyways."

"Well... Maybe you shouldn't care. I'm not worth caring about..." she said and continued walking away, "Have fun being a rescuer and explorer."
He sighed, and nodded.
"Okay... I'll see you around?" Even if they weren't on the same team, she was still his friend. Were they best friends? Were they best friends for life? Chaos didn't know. He was excited about making a new friend, though. He couldn't focus on that excitement back when she had allowed him to be her friend, but now he was struggling to keep it from bubbling up.
At the same time, he was still sad that she hadn't made the team, and that kind of evened things out.
Chaos sadly walked back over to Lucas. "Okay," he said. "What's next?"

"Huh. I didn't think you'd give up so easily. Oh well, this will be better for her and possibly for others if she doesn't join," the right head said, "Now, "We'll but you on a team with someone else. Do you have any records of your previous experience? Your badge or something?"
Chaos cocked his head to the side in confusion for a moment. "Huh?" Then his eyes widened. "Oh yeahh! My badge!" His paw went to his chin in a moment of thoughtfulness. "Well, I'm a member of Team Charge, but I'm not the leader. My leader was Austin, the Mudkip. We're a Gold Rank team. I probably need a new badge and toolbox, though, don't I?"
"No. We can just update your badge, though you'll need a wonder bag. It's the new version of the tool box... Kinda. The tool box was discontinued years ago," Lucas' middle head chuckled, "But you can start out as a gold rank team member again if you'd like. You could be the leader or otherwise. It's up to you. There's a pretty powerful typhlosion who joined recently, would you like to work with him. He's pretty relaxed and docile, you might like him."
Chaos beamed. "Sweet, I get my own badge! And a wonder bag! Of course I'd wanna start out as a Gold rank again. But I dunno if I want to be a leader or not..." He was good at problem solving, thinking on his feet. He was hardy and strong-willed, but he was better at having someone else give him his goals instead of getting them on his own.
"A-A-A Typhlosion?" He gulped. Docile and relaxed or not, Chaos didn't really like the big fiery types. He had had a few nasty run-ins with those. He liked smaller Pokémon better. Those were easier to work with. The biggest Pokémon that was on Team Charge was Latios, and Latios didn't really do much even then. "Um... Do you maybe have someone else I can work with? Someone... Smaller?"

"Not of that rank, and all the other new Pokemon already picked their team mates while you unsuccessfully tried to get Sasha back," the right head said. That one seemed to be the more cynical of the three heads, though it still had the grandfatherly air about it.
"Oh hush," the middle head chided then looked back at Chaos, "Why don't you at least try meeting him? He's quite friendly. Probably the most mild-mannered fellow you'll ever meet. Just meet him will you? He's looking for a team mate... He doesn't really need one, but he wants one."

((Oh my gosh! I thought I had replied! So sorry! ))
Chaos harrumphed. "Fine. I'll meet him. But he better not bite me." He glanced around the room. "What's his name?" He whispered to Lucas conspicuously, while trying to figure out where the Typhlosion was.

"His name is Eon. He's massive, so he should be hard to spot," Lukas answered then floated away.
And indeed, he was quite easy to spot. The fire type was massive and his back was yellow rather than blue, and his eyes were blue instead of red. He towered over the other Pokemon at eight feet tall and was matched in height only by a female golurk.
He seemed laid back enough and pretty mild from the way he just stood and examined everyone.

Chaos just kinda hop-skipped in the way that Pikachu do towards Eon, suddenly stopping and reaching up to tug on his leg.
"Excuse me, Mister? You wanted a partner for a rescue team, right?"
((School has really got me drained. Sorry.))

He looked down at the feel of the tug on his furry thigh. "Oh... Hello," he smiled, "Yes I am. Are you gold rank?" he asked curiously.
Chaos smiled. "Yup! The highest rank there is! Well, actually I did meet a team with a higher rank..." He looked down and shrugged. "But whatever. You're gold rank too, right? Let's be on a team!"
