"Finally, someone who's not terrified of me for no reason!" he smiled happily, "I... I saw you earlier with... With Sasha, the zorua, right?" he asked curiously.

"That's right! She's my best friend." Chaos said proudly. "So are we gonna be on a team then?" He asked, tentatively.


((OOC: Could we maybe timeskip to their first rescue/exploration? Maybe Sasha got trapped when she was wandering off to sulk or something, and sends out an SOS Mail? Idk, just trying to keep the plot going. ))

"Really? It didn't seem like she was very comfortable around you..." he said thoughtfully, "Either way. You'd better treat her how she deserves or you'll have me to answer to. I was head over heels in love with her before I evolved, and I still care a lot about her, so if you hurt her at all..." he shook his head, "I don't think you will though. You seem nice, even if you're too touchy-feely. Anyways, yes, I'm okay with being on a team with you," he nodded, "Let's go talk to the Golurk. She's in charge of badges and such."

Chaos frowned. "Well, er.... She said she was my friend..." He stuttered, before Eon explained. "I don't want to treat her mean! I think she's awesome, and that's how I treat her."

Anyway, this conversation wasn't going to get them anywhere. "Alright, let's go talk to Golurk." Agreed Chaos, ready to follow Eon.

"Friend and best friend are very different things. I get the feeling you're more like acquaintances," he shrugged and dropped onto all fours to walk through the area, "You can get on my back if you want," he said to Chaos.

"O-Okay." Said Chaos, confused. "I'm good- I can run pretty fast." He said with a proud grin. "Just lead the way!"

"Fair enough," he nodded and started lazily plowing grouch the crowd of Pokemon until they got to the Golurk, who was sitting behind a desk.
"Hey, y'all," she greeted with a thick southern drawl, "Is ya here to get yer badges?"
"No ma'am, just here to let you update his," Eon gestures to Chaos.
"A'ight sweety, just give it here and I'll make it work like new~"

Chaos frowned. "I, uh.. I don't actually have my badge, since I wasn't the team leader of my last team. My friend Austin carried the badge for me. I carried the toolbox... Could I get a new one?"

"Huh... Both members have a badge these days... Things have changed," she shrugged and pulled a new one from a drawer then took Eon's badge and tapped the two together, making Chaos' a gold badge, "Alright! Y'all're set~" she told them with a pleasant tone.
"Cool," Eon smiled at his new team mate, "Let's go relax somewhere and get to know each other," he said and headed towards the common area.

((Been sick for a while. ))

"Both members? You mean every member that joins a rescue team gets a badge??" Chaos was a little bit surprised. "I mean, when I've gone on a mission I'm always with the leader, who has the badge, so I never really worried about not having the badge." His eyes lit up when he watched the badge turn from its regular state to being Gold. His very own team badge! It was all coming together now. "Thanks so much, miss!~" Chaos called out before walking over to the common area with Eon.

It had been about a week since Chaos had been picked for a team. Most of the missions were pretty boring- Either grabbing dropped items or exploring already-spelunked areas of caves or helping "trapped" pokemon find their way out of a well-known area. This was not his idea of the job.

Still, he was a team member. He had to do what he signed up to do. Even if it was a very watered-down version of what he expected it to be.

Now he was sitting in the bunk bed of his room.

"Hey Eon," he piped up, still staring at the ceiling, "What if we've got mail waiting for us in the morning? Wouldn't that be exciting? Like, what if we got an actual SOS mail from someone who was really in danger? Like Groudon had caused an earthquake and we needed to stop it by finding the Blue Orb or something crazy?"

The typhlosion rolled his eyes and laughed, "Hardly anyone gets personal requests," he looked up at Chaos, "Let's go check the message board anyways," he stood and lumbered up to the message boards and scanned them idly until his gaze rested on one specific message and his blue eyes went wide.
"Chaos! Come with me!!" he grabbed the notice then sprinted out

Chaos hopped off of the top bunk and sighed, following Eon's lead before noticing his reaction. Before he could even say "What? What is it," Eon was already running on all fours- Chaos had no choice but to run after him. It wasn't hard, since Chaos was small and had a high speed stat. But still, Eon's reaction shouldn't be that bad unless something truly bad happened.

Chaos just clutched the badge he was holding, and made sure of Wonder Bag he had tied around his waist. They were good on that front.

The typhlosion picked up Chaos and tosse him onto his neck while still sprinting.
He ran all the way to the Sea Cavern and closed his eyes for a moment.
"Sasha... Sasha is in here... And she's trapped somewhere," he panted.

Chaos' demeanor changed completely.

"Sasha's in here??? Oh no! What did the mail say???"

He jumped off of Eon's back and began looking all around- His head moved quickly and so did his eyes. Where were the stairs???

"Nothing special... We don't know what floor she's on... Or why she was here..." he whimpered.

Chaos looked into the Wonder Pouch and pulled out an Orb.

"How do we not know what floor she's on? That's kind of a requirement for every rescue mission!"

He looked over it for a bit. "This'll teleport us to the stairs."

"Well, we'll find out. The badges glow once you get to the right floor," he explained, "Let's wait to use that. We might need it later."

"Okay." Chaos had forgotten about that nifty little feature.

"So I guess we start exploring. Follow me." With that, he ran off- Assuming Eon was close behind him.

The typhlosion shrugged and followed behind Chaos, quickly dispatching any Pokemon they came across with thunder-punch and occasionally picking up worthy items.

They found a few TMs and Poké, but nothing of real importance. Eventually, after a bit of wandering, Chaos happened upon a set of stairs.

"Alright, Eon! Time to head to the next level. I'm glad I'm an electric type- Hopefully we don't encounter any ground-water anytime soon. You're doing okay?"
