(I only wrote this addressing as “You” for the purpose of the introductory prompt. Generally, I write in only third person!!)
You just get back home after a long day— whether it be after a night out with friends, a long shift at work, or a tough argument with your girlfriend, you’re drained. You can’t wait to hit the hay and are preparing yourself for bed—
What was that?
You rush out into the living room to see a woman dressed in strangely.. medieval clothing ram her elbow into your window, an eruption of shattering glass following her as she falls to the ground.
She scampers to her feet and looks up at you, pulling out a strange, pulsating neon gun and pointing it out at the window into the darkness, blindly fiddling around with some buttons until a plasma ball flies out of the end and hits something..
“How the heck do you work this thing?”
Why did that sound like a clanking of armor?
She finally whips around to address you, picking a piece of glass out of her hair.
“We have to go.” She barks, leaning into your face and pinching your cheek. You saw a gash right beneath her eye that had already begun to blossom specks of blood. “I’m pretty sure you’re… the right one… I think. C’mon!”
The neighing of a passionate horse rung through the eerie silence of the night as she grabs your arm and bolts towards your back door.

Thank you so much for reading this whole thing!! I haven’t written in FOREVER and randomly got the idea to pop back on here since I’m on break! I’m looking for someone willing to join me on this adventure while our characters blindly stumble through different time periods, figuring our more of our adventure as we go along! I’m so down to make any tweaks or completely scratch the idea if you have any suggestions, I’m just really looking forward to get back into writing again.
While the adventure and drama is obviously going to be the forefront of this roleplay, I would enjoy a slow burn romance happening alongside the development of our characters (secondary to the main plot)
. This is why I’m seeking someone willing to play an M for this roleplay!
More technical stuff:
As I mentioned before, I only really write in 3rd person. Grammar and effort in responses is a pretty big deal to me, and I prefer longer responses since I put a lot of time into mine. (Exceptions when it comes to dialogue, of course). I think that’s mainly it, if you have any concerns or questions please PM me since I don’t really check my forum posts that often. Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Further future, perhaps visit mars or upload your brain
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Romance is required, but may take some time to develop. For example: slow burn RPs.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
