Emily listened to Anna and looked away. "Then this is going to be really hard there has been someone calling the foster home saying they want to adopt me but if it goes through I will have to move to Philidelphia once the school year is over." She said for she never told Andrew that a couple came one day while she was painting and had watched her talent and they got interested in her story and wants to give her a better life. "How am I supose to tell him that I am going to leave to a different place thousands of miles from here if this adoption deal goes through."

"Wow... Really? They already want to adopt you and you've only been there for a week? You're lucky," she smiled softly, "But hey... You still have the entire school year to figure it out. This is only the end of the first week."

"Nothing is offical or anything but I think they will change thier minds when more younger kids come to the foster home." EMily said having doubts that she will ever be adoopted out. "Well lets forget about it we are here to find you something for Andrew for your guys 2 year anniversery." She said as she kept looking to see if she can find something he might like and that Anna would want to give him.

"Well... I don't see anything here he might want..." she sighed, "Come on, let's go somewhere else," she suggested and stepped out of the store.
"I do think that he'd like some sort of jacket... A nice jacket..." she mused.

"He was wearing a red plaid type Jacket I eblieve the day I meet him." Emily suggested to Anna. "Maybe something red since he likes the red one he wears." She said as she walked out with her just thinking up random idea to help Anna out in anyway that she could. Emily was not really a great person to shope with since she paints and draws instead of go shopping.

She giggled, "That was a shirt, not a jacket silly," she stuck her tongue out at Emily in a cute way, "But you're right about red: it's his favorite color. They don't make many red jackets though, at least none that look good," she mused.

"Oh that was shirt man I guess I was not paying that good enough attention ince I was trying to get away from him when we first met and then having him drag me to the nurses office because I was bleeding from my head." She said as they walked and Emily say a jacket store. "Hey lets look in there they might have a jacket that might work for Andrew and they are having a sale." She said as she pointed out the store and she knew everyone loves sales.

"Right you are," Anna giggled and pulled Emily in then began looking through assorted leather jackets before picking one out.
"How about this?" she asked, "This is nice."

Emily was looking through the racks when Anna asked a question and she turned to look. "That looks nice I think he might like that." She siad and soon found a crimson color jackest. "Hey what do you think of this since you know him better then I do." She asked as she showed Anna her choice but even she was not sure if her would like it.

"Ehhhh...." she shook her head, "That's not really something he would wear..." she shook her head, "I think this'll do fine," she took the black, leather jacket to the counter and purchased it.
"Alright," she said as they walked out, "Let's go have some fun~" she giggled and started walking Dow the massive hall.

"Oh well I tried at least." Emily said as she put the one she picked back. "And that is why you are picking it not me." She said as they left and she smiled and laughed. "And how are we suppose to do that like I said I am more of an artsy girl not the shopping type." She said to Anna as she smiled a little and looked through the windows of the stores.

"Doesn't mean we can't have fun and be silly. Let's go try on hats!" she suggested.
About an hour if laughing and giggling later, the two found themselves back at the entrance, "Alright, I gotta go Emily! Do you need a ride home?"

Emily laughed a little as they want off to look around the mall and she had to admit she had fun with Anna. Once at the entrance Anna had asked if she needed a ride but she shook her head. "Nah I am good don't worry about me." She said with a smile. "Thanks for a fun day it was better then being home and listening to Luka complain all day." She said as she started to walk away.

"Are you sure? We pass by your street on the way to my place. I don't want you to walk home or it'll be night by the time you get back."

"it is fine I don't care really besides I am used to walking all over the place but thanks for the offer Anna." Emily said with a smile at her. "See you in school on Monday." She said as she walked down the sidewalk all the way back to her foster home. "This is what I need a nice calm walk home." She said just wanting to clear her head.

Anna's little, round ears drooped, "That's seriously not a good idea..." she whimpered then sighed, "Fine... I can't stop you. Be safe, okay? Do you have a cell phone or anything if you run into trouble?" she asked.

"Hey don't be sad I will be fine don't worry Anna." Emily sad with a grin. "And no the Collins haven't got around with gettin me a cell phone but I do have a pager to use for emmergancies only." She told Anna and stretched. "So I will be fine besides I know a few short cuts so it won't take that long unless you want to walk with me and call for a ride at my place if you want of course." Emily offered to Anna.

"Why not just ride with us and we'll let you out at the bottom of you're street if you're so worried about being a bother. I literally see yours and Andrew's homes every time I leave the mall... And I really don't wanna be walking around at nine o clock while it's dark. It's gonna take at least an hour to walk back, even if you have shortcuts. Please just come with us?"

Emily sighed a little for to her she did not get why these people care about he so much, if she got hurt she just get hurt, no one has ever made a big deal about anything in her life. "Alright if that will make you feel comfortable." She said and she didn't saying it but to get Anna off her back about riding with her. Though it was strange for EMily to cave in for she wasnormally very stubborn.

She sighed in relief, "Thanks..." she sat down on a bench just outside the doors and waited for a couple minutes. A Toyota soon pulled up to them. In the driver's seat was Anna's dad, another snow leopard.
"Hey dad. Can we give Emily a ride too? She lives on Andrew's street."
"Sure," he smiled and waved at Emily, "And that means you must be Emily. I'm Rich, it's nice to meet you."
