Emily was biting into an apple when Andrew came over and said thank you for the sketch. "You are welcome I know you want the real Anna but I thought the drawing would be the best thing I could do." She said as she pulled out another apple and held to him. "Want it I only need one apple?" She offered as she bit into her apple again trying to eat something.

He nodded and gently took it from her then bit into it, "Thanks..."

"No problem." She siad as she finished her apple and tossed the core into the trash. She cleaned her hands up before pulling out some left over pasta and started to eat it for she was trying to eat to make her doctors happy. She heard some boys walk by saying how Andrew greiving did not look like grieiving so she stuck her leg out causing the boys trip and face plant into thier food and everyone in the cafeteria laughed. "Opps sorry was just stretching my leg there." She siad with an inoccent smile, one thing was for sure Emily was starting to become more braver.

Andrew ignored them. He didn't care what they thought about him grieving. He didn't care about a lot of things anymore actually.

Emily was really worried about Andrew since they were friends and she hated seeing him this way. She really wished she knew what she could to make him happy again for she wanted to see him smile. She stopped eating and pushed it towards him. "If you don't eat again I am going to konk you in the head and no fighting me I had a huge breakfast this morning and a snack before lunch so eat it for you are starting to waste away."

"What do you mean? I am eating!" he protested and looked at the good she gave him. He was already almost done with his own lunch, he didn't need hers.

"Just eat it you look like you need more food." Emily said for he looked like he hadn't really been eating that much. "I Am going to my locker first if you eat it great if not I won't care." She said as she got up and grabbed her things before she left the lunchroom. The main reason why she gave him the food was because she lost her appetite and she wanted him to eat a little more for he looked like he lost a little weight. And she left for she heard rumors of people saying the only reason she was being nice was because she wanted to win Andrew's heart. "What idiots even if his heart is ready to move on he will not choose me he will probably pick a really beautiful girl like Anna since I did not make it to the same level as her." She said as she made it to her locker and opened it where there was a few sketches of Andrew on the door. "Besides me and Andrew are just friends nothing more that is all we are going to be...........just friends." She said and the last part she choked a little on it before slapping her face hard trying to snap herself out of it before grabbing her books and then closed her locker and just tried to get through the rest of the day.

When she turned around, Andrew was standing there. He smiled weakly then looked around. He made sure that absolutely no one else was in the halls then he put his hands on her shoulders and kissed her lips gently but passionately. It lasted about five seconds then he pulled away and looked around again. Nobody was there and nobody had seen, but it was clear that Emily had won his heart already, even as he silently walked away.

Emily jumped when she saw Andrew right there for she had no clue that he was there at all he had moved really silently like a mouse. She was about to ask if he needed something but was cut off when he all of a sudden kissed her. Her cheeks turned bright red once he broke the kiss and she was in complete shock for she did not expect that at all. She was pretty much frozen where she was standing and it was the sound of the bell that snapped her out of it. She ran to her class still blushing bright red.

When school was over she was on the school steps waiting for Andrew to see if he wanted to walk home with her and she got used to him walking with her. Emily's cheeks were still pink from thinking about the kiss.

He was already waiting for her outside and he stood when he saw her and he smiled slightly. "Let's go," he said softly and started walking towards their street.

Emily nodded at him and followed right next to him as they walked together. She had really no clue at what to say or even ask about the kiss for she still really liked him a whole lot to the point thatshe did love him but she accepted that when Anna was Alive he would stay with Anna but now that she was dead she did not want to take adantage of it to make Anderw her boyfriend. She wanted to be the friend he can be near when he needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to about how he felt about the lose of Anna.

He walked silently next to her and simply said goodbye when he went into his home.

Emily waved bye to Andrew and rushed to her home. She ended up skipping dinner and laid in her bed staring at the ceiling not knowing wht to make of today at all. She was happy that Andrew kissed her...really happy that he did but she did not know what to say or how to react to it at all.

Andrew didn't go to school on Tuesday, but he was back on Wednesday.
"I don't think I've ever hated school so much..." he said to her at lunch. He was sitting with Emily and a couple of his other friends.

Emily was not eating really as she listen to Andrew. "Because school is no fun at all and so boring." She said not wanting to bring Annas name up because it would be cruel. "But hey only one more ear for before you graduate then you will be free to do what you want I still have two years."

"I gotta go to college or get a job," he countered, "Life doesn't end with Highschool, unfortunately," he sighed and folded his hands on the table then rested his chin on his hands with his eyes closed.

"But at least with college you can pick the days an classes you want to take inlike high school that forces te classes on you." Emily said trying to stay on the bright side while kids whispered about her but Emily ignored it. It was stupid rumors about her taking advantage of Anna's death to get Andrew but Emily knew it was a lie.

At least Andrew's friends didn't seem bothered by the rumors and it didn't seem like they were discussing them either.
"Eh... Kinda," he shrugged and took a bite of his sandwhich.

Emily sighed and pushed her food away. "I am not hungry I am going to go outside and see if I can get any drawing inspiration." She said for some of he rumors were starting to get to her and she just wanted to go outside for a bit before class started again. She grabbed her stuff went outside and sat against a tree and looked at the sky now knowing what to do.

"I'll see you after school then," he said and turned to listen to his friend's conversation.

After school, Andrew waited quietly for Emily to show up.
