Emily walked down the steps crumbling up awful notes she found in her locker of people calling her names just because she was close to Andrew after Anna died. She threw them in the trash just trying to ignore it. She walked up to him after she fixed her backpack on her shoulder. "Ready to go Andrew." She siad puting a smile on her face not wanting Andrew to worry.
He smiled back at her, though it didn't have the same feel as when they had first met. "Ready to go?"
Emily tilted her head for his smile seemed different from the first time they meet. "Yeah I am if you are." She said as she looked at his smile more throughly wondering what was making it feel so different. It was really bugging her now and she wanted to figure it out.
It just seemed less... Vivid and sincere. Every time he smiled it seemed like he was forcing himself to.
It was three months later that Andrew finally decided he felt okay to actually date Emily. It was November at this point and they had gotten pretty close and he finally asked one Friday.
"Would you like to go out to dinner tomorrow night?" he asked her kindly. The basketball season had started so he couldn't walk home with her anymore, but he always said goodbye.

Emily finally noticed it for he was acting the same way she did when the beating first happen and it did make her worry very much.
With the past three months that went by Emily was covered in paint half of the time now for she was behind on some artwork and projects and she has no clue how she got behind on it. But she did spend a lot of time with Andrew being there for him when he needed her and she was always happy to be with him at least, especially when basketball season started. Though that Friday she got caught off guard when he asked her out for dinner tomorrow. "Uh sure sounds like fun." She said blushing a little for it was the first time he asked her out like that so she got nervous a little.

"And... I... I mean it like a date..." he said quietly and blushed a little bit.
Emily blushed darker red when Andrew said that and she looked at him for she really didn't expect that. "Oh wow um ok sure." She said very nervous now. "Um what time and do I have to dress up really nice or is it casual?" She asked for she never been on a date before so she wanted to make sure she was dressed right and that she was on time.
He thought for a moment before nodding slightly, "Dress nice. It should be a nice dinner."
"Ok I'll go home and see if I have anything nice that is not covered in paint yet if not I might have to ask mrs. COllins to go shopping." She said and realized she was rambling. "Ah listen to me rambling again you got basketball practice today and I am keeping you from it. Emily said freaking for she knew Andrew loved Basketball and she promised the team she would not always keep him like she did when they walked home after school before the season started.
(Don't make assumptions who says he loves basketball? X3)
He gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek, not caring now if people saw. It had been long enough that nobody cared anymore.
"I'll see you later," he said and walked back into the school to get changed.

((Lol sorry I was trying to be silly))
Emily blushed when he kissed her cheek but smiled at him. "See you later have a good practice and can't wait for tomorrow now." She said with a smile as she waved at him and started to walk home which was a little lonely but she understood that basketball took up a lot of time with all the practices and other stuff that goes with it. As she walked home Roxy ran out to great her. She looked like an adult dog now but she was still a puppy on the inside. "Hi girl." She said as they walked the rest the way home so she can look in her closet and see what she has.

That night, after Practice, Andrew appeared at Emily's door. He was freshly showered and he was wearing a pair of black pants, a white button down shirt and a black overcoat. He had a black tie on as well and a brown belt.
Lucy was the one that opened the door. "Hi Andrew Emily is almost ready so she told me to let you in." Lucy said with a smile as she lead him inside. "HI Andrew sorry we are running behind Emily had paint in her hair that would not come out she will be done in a sec." Mrs. Collins said as she walked down the stairs.
Soon Emily was done a few minutes after Lucy let Andrew in and she came down the stairs in a simple one strap black dress, black ballet flats since she can't walk in heels yet, her red hair was in loose curls, and she wore simple jewelry that Mrs. Collins loaned her. "Hey Andrew sorry for taking so long Paint is not easy to get out of hair if you let it sit there for a few days." She said apologetically.

He blushed when he saw her, "Y-you look beautiful..." he said shyly then stepped towards her, "And maybe you should shower every night. You're kinda too old not to," he said with a little laugh, "Come on though, let's go to dinner."
Emily blushed when he said that she looked beautiful even though she felt weird in a dress for she was either in shorts or jeans. "Yeah maybe I should but not easy when I am painting late hours into the night then rushing to school the next day." she said and Mrs. Collins laughed. "Its a chore just to get her in the shower." She said as she got her camera and took pictures of the two real quick. "Have fun tonight you two." She said and Emily left with Andrew and waved bye to her foster family. Roy barked by as Emily left and that made her laugh.
Andrew led her to his dad's car, which he was allowed to borrow for the night: a 2013 Kia Optima with almost everything was included. He opened the passenger door for her then got into the driver's side.
Emily was amazed with the car. "Wow this car looks really nice." She said with a smile and she did a small giggle when he opened the door for her. She got into the car after he opened the door for her. Emily was actually a little excited about the date but she was also nervous at the same time for this was her first date.
He smiled at her as he began driving down the road. It was about 15 minutes of quiet driving before they got to the restaurant, which was a nice Italian place. "I hope this is okay," he smiled at her.
Emily sat quietly in the car not really knowing what to say as he drove but once she saw the Itallian restaurant she smiled. "I love Italian food." She said with a big smile for she did it was pretty much the only food she would always eat no matter what. She smiled at Andrew for she was really happy.
He took her hand when they got out of the car and he led her into the building. A kangaroo woman led them to their table and Andrew looked at his menu.
