Emily smiled and was glad to be holding his hand for it felt nice. When they got inside and sat down at the table Emily looked at the Menu and was a little shocked at how expensive the food was and decided to scan the items that did not cost that much so she would not look like a free loader of some kind. So she found some food that was either 10 dollars or under it.

"Get anything you'd like," he smiled at her and then set his menu down, knowing what he wanted. "Alright, I'm ready."

Even though he said that she still decided to get something that was not that expensive so she was going to go with the alfredo pasta for it sounded good t her and it was a good price. She closed her menu and smiled. "I am ready to." She said happily at Andrew as she looked at the place and thought it was really nice.

"Alright," he nodded and ordered for both of them. He actually got the same dish she did, but a little bigger.
"So... How was your week?"

Emily smiled when her ordered and she listened to him how her week was. "Its good some how I am behind on my art class which is weird I have been spending most of my time painting then again I am painting the walls in the house instead of doing my homework." She said laughing. She was not telling him all the awful notes she was still getting from girls at least that were friends with Anna.
"How is basketball practice going? And also when is the game cus well I would like to go see you play even though I know little about the game but I would still love to watch you play."

He blushed a bit, "Well there's a home game on Tuesday," he smiled at her, "I'd live if you came to one."

"Then I will make it to the Tuesday home game I can't wait to see you play." Emily said with a big smile on her face for she was really excited to see him play now. "Though you might need to teach me how the game is played since I have no knowledge about it." She said feeling bad she didn't know the play of the game but at least Andrew could help her out with it.

"I can teach you rules and stuff, but I don't get a lot of play time, just so you know. I'm not that good..." he blushed embarassedly under his fur.

"More of a good reason to go Tuesday so I can get the chance to see you play." Emily said with a smile on her face before she took a sip of water. "And it would be nice to know the rules and stuff so I know what to cheer for and who to cheer for and not look like a fool someone would be embarrassed to know." She said with a small laugh. "But I would really love to see you play."

"You'll probably be disappointed, but I won't argue with you. It's really not a complicated sport. You try and get the ball into the other team's hoop and if you get hit while trying to shoot, you get an extra try without anyone to block you."

"I think the only thing I would be disappointed with is not at least getting a chance to watch you play." Emily said with a smile. "Hmm interesting but how do you know who is the opposite teams hoop though?" She asked for it sounded really interesting to her and she was glad to learn a little bit about it.

"Have you never seen a basketball court? There's only two hoops. One for each team, and the teams switch sides at half time." he raised an eyebrow.

Emily shook her head. "My old schools the coaches always said girls did not belong on the basketball court she he always made us run laps outside while the boys played and I never been to a game because of my abusive father." She explained to Andrew and once she got badly injured she got excused from PE because of broken bones. "But I am sure after seeing your game it will make more sense no worries." She said reassuring him.

"Just so you know, they had to have a girl's basketball team too. It's almost like its part of the state sports team rules: if there's a boys team then There's a girl's team. It doesn't matter what your clack says..." he sighed then shook his head, "Could you try not to sound so depressed all the time. I know who your dad was and what he did. You don't have to say abusive every time you talk about him," the wolf's ears drooped a bit, "It makes me sad to hear you talk like that. You can just call him dad or father. No need for the adjective."

"I guess I never knew I lived in another town before here and things were a little different there." Emily said but soon shrunk back into her seat when he said for her not to sound so depressed and she thought she was not when she talked about her father and she could not help but call him dad or father she was her dad by blood and even though he was abusive apart of her loved her dad still. "I am sorry I didn't mean to make this a depressing date....Um I am going to go to the bathroom be right back." Emily said as she got up from the table and rushed to the bathroom feeling like an idiot for she was n a date that was suppose to be happy and she ruined it.

He sighed and rested his head in his hands, feeling guilty for having made her feel bad.
Their meals soon arrived and Andrew waited for Emily to come back.

Emily came back out a minute after the food came out. She had splashed her face with cool water to help prevent her form crying and she also had to really go.
She walked back to the table and sat down with a small smile. "Sorry about that." She said as she took a sip of water. She looked at him not knowing if she could eat now since he had not eaten anything since she was gone.

He smiled Apologetically at her, "I'm sorry about what I said... let's eat," he said and began to eat his noodles.

"Its alright lets just forget about it and enjoy the rest of the evening." Emily said with a small smile as she started to eat her noodles also and she really liked it. "Wow the food is really good here." She said with a smile as she enjoyed her pasta.

"Would you like to go to a movie after this?" he offered
