"I don't know what you have to deal with in life do you really think that your the only person with a shit life" Tristen swivels his head back and fourth from the road to Scarlett "So indulge, how bad is your life?"

" Well you know that bakery i was in that was the last time I was going to enter it because ... well the person that I meet there He kind of was the person who got those vampires to attack us . I never thought he would do it and he did . His name is Ashton, he is a Demon . Dont ask me why I trusted him we just helped the supernaturals in the area and protected them from hunters . I guess Ashton thought I was going to kill him or just leave him . "

Tristen chuckles "A demon and werewolf now that is one relationship I never thought I would hear about but I guess that answers the ambush back there". The sky was getting brighter by the second and Tristen needed a place to rest and keep them out of sight, driving he finds an old beat up house with graffiti all over it "That will work" he says pulling off of the road stopping in front of the house.

" Yeah its a dead friendship now and when I see him I swear I will burn him in flames " she takes a deeps breath as cold air appears

"Remind me never to get on your bad side" he says stepping out of the car, walking to the trunk he opens it taking out to bags one with supplies the other with his guns "You never know what might happen" walking pass Scarlett into the house. It was just as bad inside as it was outside graffiti covered every inch of the house from the first floor to the second, the living room had a couch full with dust with a lazyboy chair next to it just as dusty.

"May look like a shithole but this is the best places I've seen in a long time"

" Well at least I can make it with no dust " She looked at the couch then at the chair as a breeze of wind made the dust go away " I used my powers for a good reason "

"That wasn't bad the most we avoided was a big dust cloud but glad you've got that power" Tristen says dropping his bags on thee floor going through them. Grabbing salt from one of the bags he gos through the house sealing every window and door with it making sure no demons or anything else set foot in the house "I think that will do it..." sighing as he falls back in the lazyboy exhausted.

she smiled sitting on the couch looking at the fireplace " Would you let me start a fire if I asked ?"

"Well since you asked nicely I can't say no now can I" Tristen lays back seeing the sun trying to peak through the cut up drapes.

Scarlett walked up to the fireplace and put her hand on the left over wood as they caught on fire " There we go"

"So how does it feel being the last of your kind? Can't be easy knowing that the last of your species ends with you" looking at Scarlett as she stood near the fire she started.

" Its not that bad , I knew none of my kind since my mother and father left me in the woods right after I was born to die . As long as I am alive I am fine " she walked back over to the couch watching the fire " I think my parents were afraid of me all the things I could do they left me with a three headed dog which is I guess someone's pet that got dishonored but don't worry he will not hurt you unless I summon him"

"God you've lived a hell of a life but it sounds like to me you don't leave any room for the fun things, you know like drinking, partying, having a one night stand or two" Tristen says as he lays back getting comfortable ready to sleep.

" Actually , I do that almost everyday , I kind of worked a a club for supernaturals . I got to party most of the time and drink " she smiles looking at her necklace that has a picture of a three headed dog on it which is Shadow her dog

"Supernatural bars can't tell you how many of those I've been to, let me guess you were the bartender right?" sitting up smiling to Scarlett.

" Yes and a singer there " she looks at him " Why are you asking?"

"You give off that feeling of a bartender" he says laying back in the chair again "You know the blonde with a cute face probably interesting to talk to, yea I see that in you""

" My face is not cute it is deadly " she smiled as she whistled the drug in me is you by Falling in Reverse " Just because I am 'cute ' means nothing , just means that your eyes can deceive you"

Tristen closes his yes and begins to nod off "You want to be such a badass but you don't have to be and I've been doing this for a long time my eyes see just about everything when I see you I see....Someone that is strong but afraid to let people see the fragile part of her..".

Tristen falls to sleep with his hands behind his head more comfortable then he had been in a really long time.
