Tristen slowly opens his eyes sitting up in the drivers seat reacting to his gunshot only when he grabs his shoulder it felt almost healed. "Wow this is pretty amazing!!...." he says his hand still on his wound "You really are a good at this"

" Thanks , don't move that much I am still trying to get the bullet out of your arm" she moves his other hand off of his arm as she holds out her hand by his arm as a bullet comes out of the wrap and into her hand . " Now just relax , our souls our speeding up the regeneration"

Tristen breaths deep when the bullet shoots out of his arm into Scarletts hand, the pain from it was bad but not as bad as it was going in. "I can't relax, we can't relax I didn't drive far enough away they're going to find us unless we drive now" Tristen says getting up, the second he stands he falls onto the car to the ground.

She helps him up " Just try to relax just think of better things than this happening " She grabs a dagger out of her boot and throws it into the ground making the car and us invisible " Tristen calm down they won't find us and if they do I have an escape plan , now relax"

Tristen shoves Scarlett away "There isn't anytime to relax when are you going to understand that the people that are hunting us do this for a living and no little trick like this is going to stop them" he says falling to the ground his back on the car. Things had gone from bad to worst and Tristen didn't know how to fix it.

"I have no idea what happen back there, it was like I knew what I was doing I knew I should have let them finish you off that was right it was what I was taught but....I just couldn't stop myself" Tristen says with his head in his hand.

" I get that they do this to hunt and it is not a trick , Most of the time when they come after me they end up in ashes , they do not know all the tricks up my sleeve " she walks over to the dagger and picks it up and whistles hopping her demon horse will come.

"Enough with the magic Scarlett" Tristen says leaning on the hood of the car "I have no idea what the hell we're going to do, we have a army of hunters coming after us and its just me and you....I don't see how we can survive this"

" Is there any place where there ain't no hunters?" She walks over to him and leans on the hood swell " I don't get how we can beat them unless I lose control and my darkness and demon powers take over "

"Well when your with me there aren't going to be any darkness or demons taking over not unless its a last resort and if I know the higher ups they're going to send some very bad people after us" Tristen says scratching the back of his head, hiding from the hunters wasn't an opinion they would find them were ever they went they would look everywhere they think Tristen would go. "We know the hunters are going to be looking for us but so the best place to hide would be somewhere they wouldn't think to look....Like their own backyard" Tristen says smiling to Scarlett "The headquarters its in Boston they wouldn't think to look for us in there own city"

" Yea hopefully they don't look there " she looks out towards the woods thinking " Hey Tristen , I am still confused why you didn't let them kill me"

Tristen looks at Scarlett as she looks to the woods "I'm a little curious about that myself" he says getting off the car "I just thought....Nobody should be killed like that especially someone like you"

" What do you mean someone like me" she looks at him as he gets off the car. " Like there is norpthing special about me other than that I am a supernatural"

"Your more then that, your the last of your kind your something that should be allowed to live your life not have it taken away from you just for being alive" Tristen says looking to Scarlett "Do you not think your special? Even with all you can do?"

" I was left by my parents to die they where afraid if me , they left a note by my bodue saying don't touch the demon spawn , let it die . I was reminded that I wasn't special for being the last of my kind . I thought it was normal since I was alone."

Tristen chckles after hearing Scarletts story "I'm sorry I don't mean to laugh its just the world is really small....My parents didn't want me either they left me on at orphanages stoop no note no nothing when I turned 10 I ran off lived on the streets for awhile until Graver, the silver hair man back there, found me and taught me how to hunt things like you". Tristen leans on his car rubbing the back of his neck "Graver may looked crazy back there but he taught me even if nobody wants you, you don't live live for you" he says looking over at Scarlett unaware he was blushing.

" Its fine for laughing , it wouldn't bother me , I've had worse" she looks at him and notices his blush and smiles . " You know your blushing right tristen" she slightly blushes as well

Tristen brings his hands to his face rubbing it trying to get the red to disappear "Whatever, lets get going I'm tired and it feels like my arm is about to fall off" he says walking to the car "And on the drive your going to tell me about this soul thing you did to me, I feel weird". Opening the door Tristen sits in the car turning the engine on.

" Ok" she opens the passenger door and gets in closing the door " And the hole reason you feel weird is because , our souls aren't connected anymore and your soul is becoming normal again"

Tristen drives off the dirt road back on the main one "Is that what it is? So when our souls were connected was I able to do all the supernatural things you did, like summon stuff and use the elements"

" No not like that , when our souls were connected it matched perfectly so if we got the hand of it , you could be a miester and I could be a weapon . You see its rare for me to do soul connect on less it is a friend or someone who matches my soul like you "
