He looked around, not being able to see anyone nearby.
But just the same, he placed a Spongebob plush down for the person below, since no one was above.

"Ah. . . for me?"
Luhtun picked up the Spongebob plush and turned it over in their hands. They raised it to their ear and shook it, as though expecting it to make a sound. Once, they even sniffed it.
"How nice. It is very. . . unique. I like it."
It was ugly and slightly unsettling, but somehow, those traits were endearing to the mortician. In kind, they gifted Armond something of their own making; a little taxidermy mouse in a shirt decorated in pineapple print, holding a tiny cheeseburger made of clay. It was mounted on wood with a glass lid to protect it.
"I call it. 'Squeakburger.' It's part of a series. 'The Mouse Hungers.' Still working on the name. Still. I hope you like it."

"Uhh.. here, I got you something!" In the outstretched palm of the white-haired child lay a small vial made out of a wobbly but mostly transparent glass. At only the size of his own fist, it could hardly store any noteworthy candy, but that wasn't the point Zero was trying to make. "I.. umm, I was on this lil' quest thingy with my friends this one time on a planet were stuff was just growing everywhere. Rando and Spritz were helping this local Doctor guy track down his runaway assistant, and while we were there and stuff, he said that I should make a terrarium in case I get bored. So, uhh.. I kiiiiiinda made like 20 of them." Inside the bulbous corked-up glass sat a tiny landscape consisting of mostly bright red moss, dotted with tiny fan-shaped saplings and stubby succulents. ⠀⠀"You don't have to worry though! It can only survive like this in the bottle and stuff, so if you drop it, it won't go and infect your world with weird red mossy stuff or anything. But, uh, yeah! I thought, since you do so much stuff with death, it might be fun for you to carry something around that's, like, the opposite of death! Maybe it can you up, sometimes!" ⠀⠀Bearing a cheek-to-cheek smile, Zero hopped ahead and planted the alien terrarium in Lahtun's hands, before stepping back and folding his own behind his back. Phew. Now he had to figure out what to do with the 17 others that still lingered around the ship.. |
"Hello, little one."
Various octopod arms curled and unfurled behind Apollyon as the lower arms propelled him forward. He was slower on land than he was in the water, but that could be said for a lot of merfolk.
In being a merfolk, he was an object used for naught more an extension of the Sea King. The movement from serf to knight was great, but it only meant he had more suffering bloodying his hands, from what he caused and what he received. The least he could do was find small reparations where he could.
Did this child have friends? It sounded like it, but perhaps a merfolk game wouldn't do. Many toys centered around being underwater and Apollyon was wary that a game might have a learning curve. Did he even ever play? The morbid thought crossed his mind, but he was thoughtful of the aspect that he was leaving the age where toys were even appealing.
Instead, when he lowered himself from his great height to Zero's level, he had revealed he brought with him a velvet pouch. It clinked and clattered softly as it was put in Zero's hand.
"They are sea snail shells," he explained. His eyes weren't visible, but his mouth carried a gentle smile. "From my home. I gathered the smallest ones so they could fit in your terrariums. However, you are free to use them as you see fit. I hope you enjoy them."
Apollyon was familiar with the sensation of being fascinated by lots of small pretty things as a fry, especially if they could be used in crafts. He figured it was something every child experienced, regardless of their background. Life could be simple like that sometimes.

"A gift for the person above? Hmmm.."
And then, he showed a jar full of marshmallows,
"Hope you like them, they are hand-made, i thought i could give them to.. Someone i know, but.. They are yours, hope you like them."
He had a little smile.
"I can try more colors and flavors, but i started simple, i aim to improve in that domain."

He stepped out of his hangar "oi! Topspin, Leadfoot, and ah got ye a small energeh generator'"
He set the small eight inch silver machine. It looked like a metal armor gauntlet glove. In the top, there was a dark blue glowing shpere.

O'pharoth had stared at the... robot? He normally stuck around humans and other organic living beings, but he never really dealt with the inorganic.
He was a bit lost to what to give Roadbuster, but he ultimately decided to give him the following;
A miniature car that seen better days. It looked old with faded green paint and roughly the same make as a chevy. He thinks.
"One of my previous hosts liked collecting these. Hope it's to your liking..."

"Woah! What are you? Do ya use a spaceship or something? I just fixed the wings of one, it’s working, it’s yours.
And, yeah, you can change the colors, if ya want to, i take it that you like red?
I mean, it’s OBVIOUS!"

"Now, I believe I have something you'd be quite fond of..."
Fluttering closer with a proud smirk on her face, The Nameless One presents a brown aviator's jacket to the mustelid, holding it by its sleeves.
"Isn't it lovely?" They purr, brushing the faux leather with a hand to straighten out any wrinkles. "I saw this and figured the likes of you would love to include this in your wardrobe. You have everything but a shirt- this ought to round out your look, no?"
She eagerly holds it out, as if waiting for him to accept the gift.
...A bad idea, if you knew the rules of the fae.
"Please, go on," Nameless urges. "I insist. Take it."

"I could dedicate some songs to you, but, i just met you.
For a present, it’ll be.."
He searched on him and took a paper out, he handed it to her.
"It’s a protection charm, just recite the spell and a magic barrier will protect you from harm, isn’t it great?"

"A. . . gift? I see."
Caught off-guard, but not unaware, 2B raised a gloved hand to her chin. Her face lowered in consideration of her options. Rather, the options she had for the fae. It was still hard to grasp the nature of those magical beings. At least this one fit the description she was usually given, even if they weren't presently tiny.
Just then, a small bag materialized in her hands in a flash of pale cubes, in a similar fashion to how her weapons would traverse between her palm and her back. She rifled through it for a moment before she withdrew a near-translucent orange chunk in her hand. Within it was the dark outline of something mangled - bones, seemingly of some small creature.
"It's amber," she explained. "When it solidified, it trapped some kind of frog inside. Because of that, I've had trouble finding a use for this piece, since it can't be salvaged for upgrades. I had thought of selling it, but why don't you take it for free?"
The fae liked beautiful things, did they not? This specimen was beautiful in its own way. However, 2B wouldn't voice this, just as she wouldn't openly stereotype the fae before her. Instead, she offered it with an open palm to The Nameless One. She wasn't expectant that it would be received at all, if not well, but in fairness, 2B had no idea how to please these kinds of creatures. Pleasing certain other Androids was difficult enough. . .

"Gosh dang, you're sure pretty!" Ofelia chimed, her eyes practically sparkled as she stared at 2B's attire. "I really love the pattern on your dress! And those feathers are a nice touch too."
The fae had a large sack over her shoulder that looked rather hefty. Also judging from the way Ofelia was hunched over, she was clearly struggling with managing the sheer weight of it.
So opting to take a short break, Ofelia had put down the sack on the ground and use this precious time to admire the stranger.
But hen her eyes landed on those impossibly tall high heels, the fae had gasped. "Oh my, those are sure tall! I could always admire people who could walk around or even fight in high heels like that." She then tilted her head, "But doesn't it get uncomfortable?"
With a tap of her finger on her lip, she was pondering about something. Then she raised it with a small 'ah!'.
Before she'd let the woman respond, the fae had crouched down to open her sack and proceeded to dig around inside.
A pair of medium sized slippers. It was in a off-white shade and made out of standard fleece material. However, the only notable thing about it that it was decorated with embroidery in the shape of dahlia flowers and vines.
"I was getting more slippers for my workplace! Boss man has a good deal going on with the local tailor, so he wouldn't mind a pair being given." Ofelia explained, then let out a small laugh, "your poor soles will thank me later!"
Ofelia was not aware that 2B was not organic like herself and probably wouldn't need it, but she figured it was a nice gesture anyways.
