the six year old girl walked in the dark streets. she has a bloody kitchen knife in her hand and tears were streaming down her face. she had her hand over her stomach and she was pretty thin. no one was helping her, they only ran from her or didn't even look at her. she was known in a lot of places and she was easy to spot out because of her orange hair.

Walking down the dark street carrying a big shopping bag filled with food Alexia blair turned a corner on her and stooped abruptly when she saw the young child in the darkness. she contemplated what to do for a moment before calling out "hey there ... what are you doing out this late .. you know its not to safe for little kids in the dark."

"im just looking for a place to stay, but no one wants me" she looked at the woman. she was still crying. she put her hands over her eyes and she was covered in blood and she still had the knife in her hand.

Alexia looked down at the girl for a moment before crouching down so they were eye to eye. she then placed a her bag down grabbed a handkerchief out of her pocket and slowly reached over to start wipeing some of the blood off the child. " well thats not good now is it " she said witha smile " how about coming home with me .. i have a big apartment and the only other person there is my older brother?"

her eyes widened. "I.. I can go home with you?" she moved her hands from her eyes and she sniffed. she was confused and happy at the same time. she gave the woman a small smile. her stomach growled loud enough for the woman to gear and she blushed a little.

Alexia tilted her head and nodded at the girls question "of course i can't leave a little cute thing like yourself alone on the street now can I " she said just before the girls stomach growled causing Alexia to chuckle a little and reach into her grocery bag. she pulled out a small plastic box and handed it to the girl. the cover of the box read warm, fresh branners hotdog "there that should hold you untill we get back to my home" Alexia said as she took the bag , stood up and held her hand out for the girl.

she held the knife and the box in one hand so she could use her other hand to hold yours. she looked confused at the box. "what's in it?" she asked. "what's a hot dog?" she asked and she couldn't remember anything. she started running questions in her head about herself.

Alexia looked down at the girl as she asked what a hotdog was " um well i don't know exactly whats in it but i can tell you its a very good piece of meat on a warm bunn that tastes amazing." shhe said with a tilted head and a finger to the mouth.

she looked up at you when you spoke then she looked back at the box. "how do I eat it?" she asked. she was confused about everything then she sighed to herself. she had a sad look on her face.

Alexia stopped and bent down to the girl " here" she said as she let go of the girls hand and took the box. she opened it and pulled out the hotdog " you just eat it like this" she said as she held up the food and mimed how to eat it " here try it" she said as she handed it to the young girl.

she took the hotdog and looked at it then she looked at you then back at the hotdog. she took a bite and she smiled brightly. "Mm" she said and she chewed it then swallowed and giggled. "its good" she said and continued eating it.

Alexia smiled at the girl " see told ya" she said as she stood up and took the girls other hand again. "lets get going". the two the continued to walk untill they reached a large apartment building. they walked up to the 3rd and top floor where they entered an apartment. Inside was a large warm home 3 bedrooms ,2 bathrooms a large living room and a kitchen with a dining table. "here we are"Alexia said as she let go of the girls hand and calm;y shut the front door.

se looked around with her eyes wide and her mouth was full of hotdog. she swallowed and she smiled. "whoa!" she said. she hugged you leg and she was being careful not to cut you. "am I going to get lost in here?"

alexia chuckled as she looked down at the girl "no it's not that big.. you wanna meet my brother" she said a she called out "Drew!" the second she called out the name a tall man with long Blackhair held in a small ponytail came from around a corner "YESS" he said untill he saw the girl " oh who is this little cutie?"

she hid behind the woman's leg and peeked at the man. "he's so big" she whispered to the woman. she glared at him but she was six so it wasn't intimidating. "he scares me" she whispered

"don't be scared , he maybe big but he's really just cuddly and lovable." Alexia said as she squatted down next to the girl. she then gestured for Drew to come closer, which he did. " see" she said as she ruffled his hair and poked his stomach. " he's not mean , he's like a giant warm teddy bear."

She smiled and giggled. She stayed next to the woman though. She continued to giggle then she closed her eyes then she though for a second. "Whats a teddy bear?" She asked and looked at the both of them

Drew lifted an eye brow and looked at Alexia whom just looked down at the girl "how about ishow you one .. after we get you cleaned up" she said as she stood up and took the girls hand " come with me"

She looked up at the woman and nodded her head. "Ok"

Alexia then took the girl into the bathroom and started to run a bath. she let the water fill the tub before turning it off and looking at the girl " do you know how to take a bath?" she asked.
