If you block an anon character could you accidently end up blocking and unfriending someone on your friend's list?
Blocking someone doesn't unfriend them.
But it could create a weird situation where you can PM them but they can't respond (they will get a message that they have been blocked)
I know this might be a little confusing but this is done to prevent blocking anonymous characters, and PMing a user profile to check if the character belongs to that user.
