Ichigo and Y/C are both sitting in/near a large Oak tree in the middle of a large park. The breeze making the autumn leaves dance in the chilled afternoon sky. The birds sing their songs as they begin migrating for warmer weather. The scent of pumpkin and cinnamon wafting through the air from the cafes and bakeries. In this relaxing moment, Ichigo hears a deep sigh and peeks to see who's so distressed on a wonderful afternoon like this one. She than sees Y/C sitting alone against/in the Oak.
Y/C (Tall Tree Friend) isn't having the best day, but they're somewhat timid and would prefer to just try and wait for whatever it is to pass. Ichigo senses your distress and comforts you and says that she'll protect you, despite her small stature. You begin to talk with each other about what stresses you both out, and slowly, the two of you grow close, and you begin meeting more and more so. You go on walks as well around the town, enjoying the Fall activities.
And we pick it up from there. Now of course your character doesn't have to be timid, and if you want to change that than I'm fine with that. Can't wait to start roleplaying with you! (:

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Industrial revolution
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
