If you did not know already, this an RP inspired by World War 2. Though not entirely, it is not entirely based on the actual events on World War 2, the countries will be different, (Because I do not want to offend anyone that are sensitive to this sort of topic)and I will make no references to the actual events, (for some reasons that are more or less obvious.) And so the name will be different, so will incidents and dates and whatnot.
The Generes:
Magic will be rare, and this is based on how limited magic will be no matter what character I or you will be playing, since I want some more struggle in this rp instead of fixing a situation easily with a lot of magic.
Technology will be somewhat limited as well, since this is inspired during the time of 1940 to 1945, but since I have altered that a bit, I have set the time to extend to 1940 to a more farther time, so new tech may be introduced.
Combat will be the main focus of this Roleplay, since this is a major war, combat will be descriptive, brutal, somewhat realistic (with the use of slight magic,) and needless to say, there will be a lot of blood that will be shed.
Romance will not be the main point in any of the story, it can be moments in sometimes, but the main focus will not be on it at all.
The Plot:
The plot I inted to keep vague, but I will give slight hints here. A war begins on a place called Track Bay, under Operation Truck Stop, where it was to stop a country called Jiran from expanding, by cutting off their supply line, after the operation however, the country that held the operation, Dara Riblic, was attacked as well by another country that Jiran had requested them to, and now the countries have gone into war, and the country that has requested the attack on Jiran, called Runnea Nalouperab, was threatened, so war is teeming and one other side was about to go to that same war as well, eventually it blooms to a whole grander event, not just operations anymore. Because of the plot, it'll be depressing but rejuvinating at the same time, in some ways or another.
Rules:
1: Simple RP rules: Adjustable writing, so paragraphs can come to two or more sentences, not just one sentence however.
2: One sentence is allowed only when answering a question.
3: Freewriting, meaning the plot will develop from the both of us, but I still have some things that I would want to introduce later on, but it won't be linear.
4: This RP will be a long term one. But you are free to back out anytime during the rp.
5: and remember to respect boundries if they ever come to appear, that counts for the both of us.
Specific RP Rules:
1: Like I said, no matter what character you are, how magical or omnipotent they are, they will be degraded down to somewhat normal human standards, use magic in a short amount as much as possible.
2: This will be a somewhat more immersive RP than what I usually do, so I really want you, as for me as well, to express your character as much as possible, or do it subtle hints, or any way you want really.
3: Technology will improve overtime, but if you want to, we can stick to the older tech.
4: Apperance will mostly stay the same, unless your character has more attributes, so for that you will need to lower that down. But if your character's race is different, you don't have to change it entirely, I'll just say that other people only see you as human but the main characters that we are playing will not. This plays up to the slight magic genre.
5: You can play with as much characters as you like.
6: and finally, no killing off major characters, at least not yet, by that I mean do not kill randomly, you need to have a sound purpose to kill a major character, except the main characters, they stay alive regardless until either one of us decides to kill our character off.
Conclusion:
and that will be it for now, I will most likely improve on this as time goes on, but besides that, I hope we can have some amount of fun with this rp, and that we can both enjoy it as much as possible, I hope to see you there.

I don't know how long it has been, more than some weeks, the big man upstairs in this world has said that it would most likely take weeks for us to finish this war...ever since we set foot on that bay, not to mention we underestimated the enemy, things have gotten a lot worse, and the days have stretched a lot longer. I'm being shipped to Panta Docks, and I wanted at least something recent to be sent out to you before I die. It's the fire, it's the bullets passing by, it's the explosions, it's the limbs flying everywhere, as if the sky was raining with blood, where has the water gone? there is more red cells on the ground then there is water in the sea, it evaporated, and now the sky has been painted red with the blood of the chosen, the chosen ones' that does not have a choice in the matter, one of those included me...I don't think I have long...if this was sent late, and if you see a soldier letting you know that I now rest with my other brothers that are not even six feet under...I hope you don't try and avenge me...it's a bad route.
I wonder what this year's christmas would have been like...we barely get snow but I learned that it's not all about that, it's about the people I met and bonded with along the way....I'm sorry that I can't be there...I much rather see snow than snow with red.

Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.
Industrial revolution
Wartime/soldier RPs. Combat is a given and will likely be graphic, but there's the potential for non-combat "in the trenches" scenes. World War 2, Vietnam, etc.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
